Sports pagers anyone

Anyone know of any current hookups on a good sports pager? Tried to get one last year around the start of football but there was nothing decent out there. For three years had a ridiculously good Sportsnow pager but once they changed their software and zapped everyone it went kaput. Have a Treo and can logon for the scores, but mostly too lazy to do that and keep hitting refresh all day for 12 hours.

Dont mind paying a charge up front but not interested in one of the $50/mo jobs. I know a lot of the chumps selling them on ebay will sell one that works for a month but then when the company zaps you its a dead piece of crap - essentially what happened to my SN pager but that lasted 3 years. Now they do it more often so I hear. For that much I can live with hitting refresh.

I've had my sportspager through Sportsnow for about 3 years now and never had any problems. I paid 365 for the year. Updates are great along with other great info. Don't wanna post their website out of respect for Jacks site. Just do a search with the name above and it should take you there. If you have any problems, get my email from Jack or IE

Yeah thanks Ronnie, got their site. The SN pager I had was one of the hacked ones, paid $150 for it with no monthly fees.

They have come along way since then. I've tried other pagers and none compare to their new ones. Good luck and glad I could help

I get mine thru Verizon-think it is called sportsnet or something--$10/month

Read my first post, I do have it. Its a pain in the arse to sit there hitting refresh for 12 hours of watching football.

if you open an account at DSI (2betdsi.com) with a certain amount I think 1k they will give you a free one and pay the charges as long as your account is active

Yeah after the recent debacles I'm pretty happy with Pinnacle and The Greek. Wouldnt jump at the chance to move $1k over into another book just to get a pager. Thanks though.
