like the picks, lotta HF's have hit so far, but i see no reason for the trend to continue...using the theory of "the away teams are bound to hit" is stupid, and im glad you didnt use that theory in capping and still took the home favs you feel are worthy...gl, im gonna tail you and Hawkeye and take Texans and Panthers

GL vyrus :SIB I hope we are on the right side of those games. The way I look at it is Kubiak comes from the School of Shanny and we know how he loves to win preseason games. Kubiak should bring that same winning ways with him at Houston. Im thinking he wants to start his coaching debut with a win.

As for the Panthers, I am going to ride the trend in which they have won & covered their first preseason game the last 4 years. People might shy away because they hear no Steve Smith and no Mike Minter tonight but then how long were these guys really gonna play.

I completley agree on Houston...Kubiak will definatley have more success than Capers, I wish their was a prop of who would accumulate more wins in their first 2 seasons...Carr is now a veteran, and after showing he wiill still give it his all, even if hes getting sacked 3x more than the average QB in the league, he reallly has to be considered the heart and soul of htis team...Davis coming off a down year, were he promised 2,000 yards +, and failed to get half...both players are talented, and Carr is as tough as they come...>Davis is ripe for a big year, and with ** prowling hte D-line I really think Houston can win 7-8 games this year...def agree that they will want to begin their season with a W, and ill back that notion with a wager...good luck, and thanks for the plays

P.S.

what do you think about the Cardinals? I love them...Senor Cappers play for the day, and we all know he has always been quite succesful in football ike yourself...any thoughts?

Glad to hear everything is going well. I look forward to hearing your news!

Vyrus ~

You can't go wrong with SC's play of the day. Probably by far the best nfl handicapper here at MJ's. If I were to play the game, I would go with the Cards as well. I've been reading that the Pitt backup qb's have been struggling and they should play the majority of the game once Big Ben & Batch are out. I'm not really sure who are the Cards qbs after Warner & Navarre. I also figure Denny Green would like to win this one for the fans being that its the grand opening of Cardinals stadium and their first sellout since 2000. It also helps that the Cards have won 6 of their last 7 preseason games with Denny. GL with the play vyrus..I'll be pulling for ya :SIB

EXHIBITION RECORD: 3-1-0

PANTHERS -3 (-124)

TEXANS -2.5 (-122)

SAINTS/TITANS UNDER 36 (-109)

PACKERS +3.5 (-109)

GLTA :SIB

Went 2-2 last night. Sucked to lose that Panthers game. Thought it was going to be an easy one after they pulled to a 14 point lead.

The Texans looked pretty good to me last night. I wasnt sure if I was watching the Texans or the Broncos last night LOL>

Don't think that Titans offense can do much after Volek sits. Under may be the play in their preseason games.

Granted it was only preseason but Rivers really impressed me last night. Not what I expected from him. Plus the Chargers starting defense looked good swarming the field.
