start after getting nailed in the knee and reports are saying that
he will try to pitch through lingering soreness. Not only will
Santana have to deal with his knee, but the temperature will still
be in the mid-90s at game time, so he is liable to get fatigued
more quickly and leave a few over the plate. Santana is also
notorious for being a poor road performer in his young career
(6.45 ERA road, 3.02 home) and his job is made even more
difficult by facing a hot Texas lineup that has scored at least
seven runs in eight of 13 August games, including 37 runs in
a four-game set versus Seattle at the cozy confines of
Ameriquest Field. Padilla has a 3.26 ERA since the All-Star break
