I am still somewhat new to this site. Just wondering if there will be people posting their picks each week, and if so, are their members who have pretty reliable picks from week to week? Just looking for any extra advantage I can get. I plan on posting my picks each week and seeing how well I actually do this season.

There are a ton of solid cappers for college here.....off hand "G-Man" does a great job following the MAC conference. He knows that conference like the back of his hand and posts winners every season in that conference. "JohnnyB" know the Pac-10 conference pretty well also. "TheWorm" had a great season with Pro and College last season with his BIG plays! He usually hammers one or two games and had a very high win % last season in Pro/College......if anymore come to mind I will post for ya! This is a great forum!!!

I would say the highest percentage wins are when the cappers that follow their team very closely go against their team, or say it is not lookin good. I know I made money last year listening to guys who had legit concerns about their team covering/winning, and i nrmally wouldnt follow them with any of their other picks.

I do agree with RS about Gman and the mac, and RS is no slouch himself

Also another good suggestion if you're going to follow cappers in here and this is from experience......On a given Saturday it can get very crazy in the football forum's with tons of cappers making picks and the excitement of betting games can get overwhelming and also could get costly if you bounce around from capper to capper playing plays.......choose 1-3 cappers at the most and stick with them and that's it! You have to be discipline in sports wagering for success or else you will get buried! Trust me! Take the suggestions from your post here which you will get many....narrow it down to a few cappers to follow and stick with them only! If they start to fail you then move on and choose another, but don't bounce around using a ton of cappers at a time. I was one in the beginning who played many, many games and I did ok, but there were times I lost my ass because of the action. Within the last few years I've narrowed my plays down in all sports and my profits have grown tremendously better......

VERY good point about sticking to 1-3 cappers...if your trying to follow every capper you think is doing good, your gonna find yourself trying to choose between 2 cappers if they are on different sides, hence following some of the capper your trying to tails plays, then going against him on others because you are tailing another guy who has the opposite side, and many times you will find that you lost while the capper you wanted to tail won because you followed some of his plays, went against him on others because you sided with antoher capper on that given play, and etc etc....for me the bet are Gman, MASTER CAPPER (favorite, thinking about only tailing him this year), amazing NCAA FB capper and Fletcher...3 proven winners, year in and year out

thanks guys.....i'm just an amateur, so any help is appreciated.

I lurk here alot and I really don't throw out alot of scratch on games. I bet within my means. This site is very helpful at times. I thin it is best to pick a few guys to do business with and stick with them. Looking at about 10 different post will give you 10 different outcomes. Good luck and Hook' em.

ar182, fletcher, raymond, master capper, gman, clem, etc. can't remember a few of the guys who only post on ncaaf/ncaab but they are awesome as well. if you follow the above guys you'll do fine. just stay away from guys with a low number of posts who are bragging about their game of the years/months/week.

great point hoops, the only thing those "game of the year" posts from low# cappers is the laugh we all get when they dont get close, and then roll our eyes when the predictable follow up filled with excuses and my favorite "You guys cant wait till somebody loses a big bet and you can rub it in their face" HAHAHA that one gets me everytime

AR182 is a strong ncaafb capper. I look forward to his thread weekly.

I also try to read Taoist, despite his allegiance to the Vols, and Blackman, who prefers quality to quantity.
