Hello Guys,

I just want to let you guys know something. A couple weeks back my cousin purchased Jim Hurleys special NFL Preseason guaranteed 6-0 for only $69 or full season free.

Well you know what happened than, Hurley lost two in a row & now Jim & his staff don?t want to pay up. My cuz called them numerous times about the Full FREE season they promised & they keep trying to up-sell him on a $499 package & saying those free season plays are not that good!

What the hell! They suppose to include all his 5* games during the season. How can they not be good? On top of this, Jim?s service gave out my cuz phone# to every capper in the world & his phone never stops ringing!! With these scam artist trying to make a buck!

BELOW: Here is a copy of my Cuz email to Jim Hurley & still waiting for a response.

Hello Jim,
I have never been so upset as I am today. I just signed up 8/17 to test your Guaranteed NFL Pre-season plays for $69.00.

1) Last Night one of your reps tells me that 3 of the guaranteed games are already over & there are only 3 games left. I thought it was strange being I follow your website regularly, but I said Ok anyway.

2) The play I got was K.C. over Giants which was a loser. I called today 8/18 & was told that was not a guaranteed game and our ratings are 1 to 5 stars and that was not one of those 5 star games.

3) NOBODY!! told me about ratings. But the other guy last night said it was the 3rd guaranteed game that WAS GONE ALREADY!!!!!!and the rep today tells me only ( 1 ) guaranteed game has been given!
Whats the truth??

4) On top of this pack of storys, I call tis morning to find out when is a good time to call for the preseason plays. And the pressure of your ASS sales rep on the phone was TERRIBLE!!.

I told him no numerous times but he continued to abuse me verbally while I was on the phone at work & refused to give my my paid plays until I buy the season package for $499. And he said he would put $1500 on my credit card in September If I dont buy the football package now for only $499.00, than he tells me if I dont like the way he is talking to hang up!!
WHAT the hell kind of business do you run?? I do not like to be pressured and
I am totally pissed of right now. What I want is a refund of my credit card minus the one game last night and I think that is fair and I am done.. I am requesting a return email response Please. I dont want to go through the hassle of filing a claim with my credit card company, but I will if needed to do so.

You may contact me at anytime.
Thank You,

REQUESTING REFUND:
C.Copy., Credit Card Services claims

This guy & his gang of crooks including his partner Kelso Sturgeon is your typical scam artist & they DON?T PAY UP!!

I told my cousin to stay away from these crooks but he learned the hard way.... I just went on Jim Hurley?s website & he is showing only his winning plays without his losers, typical.

SCAM ARTIST ALERT!!

Hope I'm not the first to break it to ya but folks like you have been swimming by Hurley's mouth for almost 25 years. I'm shocked he or they are still alive or out of jail. You got on the wrong end of that 69. Chalk it and move on, you'll never see that $$. You'll do much better here.

sorry vinnie,

that's extra. BUT

for you, i'll throw you and the board a bone and give you my 412* lock of the Rock Star Supernova winner. Put your money on Lucas Rossi. He's a "lock." Dalana was close but she blew it last week in the interviews and is a poser anyway. look at her before show pictures and after show pictures. she was like a schoolgirl and then miraculously got ink and piercings in a 2 week span to look tough. Between those two, but I'll give you the winner ahead of time and its Lukas.

I just haven't found a book with odds yet that i'm comfortable putting money into.

Since you've been a good customer vinnie, please don't hesitate to ask any other questions.

Prodog............let's hope that you are rather new to the pay for pix game. If so, then you have lost minimumly. It would be a good time to quit paying and consider channeling those $ into somethng more worthwhile.
It's you're first post at this site, welcome. You can do just as good here.

Long time ago, myself and two others bought Marc Lawrence's NBA package. Of the first 24 games, he went 3 - 21.

We stopped wagering long before the losses reached 21, but when we called and spoke with his assistant (Dewey) we were told...

"Stick with him. One thing for sure, his picks can't get any worse."

i was new a while back and signed up with them also around 1990. it was a huge learning experience. they always try to sell you the cant miss locks for more money. hurley and mike warren are from what i understand related. i would tell you to stay away from them all but if you bet the opposite of what they tell you i think you will do well. do not pay for their plays there are many places around the net to find their plays for free. good luck

On the lake. Setting hooks!
My experience with a pay service clown is a little different. When he would start out losing the first of the week. He would scramble around for what he considered a '' lock, it can't lose' money line play and tell me and the rest of the flock to put all we were down on it to get our losses back. Most of the time it was a -500 to -900 chalk he said play. Almost like "hey guys were down 5 units this week. So I suggest playing that the sun will come up tomorrow for -1300 to win 5 units. This went on time after time. Well first thing nobody could risk what it took to get back on them weeks . And if they did wanted to risk their entire bankroll to try it. If they lost. Which sometimes the plays did. Then they were busted. And to top it all off. When I was on my Field Of Dreams RL run in baseball. This clown had the nerve to email me and accuse me of stealing his plays and posting them in my threads. Because one night he liked a certain team on the ML. Well I liked the same team on the RL -1.5. So this clown said I was posting his "service plays". So I had to drop this clown and go on my own. Life is much better. I'm a firm believer you need to learn to cap on your own and make your own decisions. After that bad experience with this scam artist. I'm a firm believer that anybody. And I mean ANYBODY that charges for picks dose so because they can not make it on their own picks. They are great at marketing and need the suckers money to survive. While telling you that they don't need your money. Just my 2 cents.

So Cal
I noticed that Fletcher went something like 9-1 yesterday with picks on Madjacks. I think he has shown with his posts here that he wins more than loses.

You make a good point about marketing. If you have to spend thousands to advertise in the daily newspapers and magazines a couple of times a week, while making outrageous claims, that should be a red flag right there. When someone says they hit 85% in NFL last year I think you know they are lying.

Some guys will lose money even if they were given 60% winner day in and day out because they can't manage their money or they play "systems" that never win in the long run. It is like throwing darts, you will hit a bullseye on occasion, maybe even for a month. But in the long run, systems always go down for the count.

There are plenty of guys here that are better than many of the services out there - even the big, well known ones like Feist and Warren who are marketers not handicappers. Blindly following people here is hard because it makes money management difficult since the plays are not categorized. Maybe the best idea is to use the views here for investigation or perhaps to veto.

Different people like different styles - there is not a one size fits all package.

I agree on a few points First about Fiest and others. Second about boasting about 85% winners. Third about money management. Where I disagree is the systems theory. All systems don't always go down. I have used one the last 3 years in baseball. It made me plenty money. I made over $20,000 with it this year in baseball. My football system always makes me money or keeps my bankroll safe. So your theory on systems makes no sense at all.

I could easily be wrong, believe me on that. I have just never heard of a system that worked over a period of time (years). If you have one, and I know you did well with profit this season, you are a lucky (and very intelligent) man.

Wasn't saying anything about me being intelligent. Guess that was a shot from you. Can't help but wonder why you took such an offense to me not caring for pay services. Are you a service? And where can I access your plays daily on this site? Maybe your an 'intelligent man' and I've been missing out on some free winners.

On the course!
Smoke,

I'm not reading the same thing from ferdville. I don't think he's taking a swipe at you, ar anything like that. He's making his own point, from what I see.

Not to offend you, but three years is really nothing. It's a nice run, but that's about it. To pull out any kind of a winning season takes a measure of discipline, so I certainly give you that over the course of three years time, but when you "slow down", what then? Will the "system" need re-tooling?

I wish you, and everyone else, continued success at this, for as long as you can run it out. But, managing the cash flow is the most important animal in this game, IMO.
