Really thought the line would be moving down, but I'm gonna have to jump on this while it's still 4

Northwestern -4 (-108) 1 unit

It used to be that the MAC teams would get overlooked by the Big 10 teams, but that hasn't been the case over the last 5-6 years. And a team like Miami could never sneak up on Northwestern as they've traditionally pounded on them. NW had a bigger oline in 2002 when they played well and Miami just kind of ran around them and was in the backfield all day, but Walker was recruiting more athletic linemen over the last couple of years.

Just a bet based on NW offensive line against a Miami Dline that appears undersized. While both these teams have some glaring weaknesses, NW won't need their QB to win this game while Miami will need Kokal to play well to move the ball. It may be too much to ask.

North Texas +41 (+100) 1 unit

40 point dogs went 0-4 last year against the number but are still 47-26 ATS over the last 10 years

1 unit each against ND in these future plays
Penn State +10'(-110)
Michigan +6'(+102)
USC -2(-122)

When the polls came out I didn't think the Irish were overrated, until I saw the early lines. Just placing an investment in them now to get some nice middles later (hopefully)

Like that Nortwestern play but seems like alot of chalk eating for you.

Think I will slam it down anyway and hope your right out of the gates.

After all your one of the few that won a contest that allowed you to travel to Tahiti for a week of drinking them drinks with the umbrellas. I don't think AR, judge, or Taoist can claim the same.

About ND futures. What you got against this team. I think their offense is going to carry them and the defense will be improved this year.

I am looking at the Georgia Tech game vs ND close. My gut feeling is that the game will be close, but no way in the second half Georgia Tech will be able to stay with Brady.

Bobby 4 out 5 isn't bad, just kidding.

Really like the NW play also, being an alum of Miami,oh I concur that with the emotion of the day the Redhawks will not get it done against this NW team.

Fully concur on all but NoTex. Got it on reliable sources that Texas is looking to run it up big on NTex. Texas wanted to cancel this game and buy out NTex contract but N Tex refused and Mack Brown says they will pay. Last yr score was something like 66-0 and they weren't even pissed. Just wanted to let you know.

Good Luck

I think 7 is the right number.

Reggie Ball is exactly the kind of QB that can give them fits especially with a 6'7" receiver. I think that ND can win (and against PSU and Michigan, too), it's just the spreads seem a little large. They're a good team, but they're not dominant.

That's good info on Mack Brown, ctown. The line seems high for a frosh QB, but maybe that's why it's where it's at. 40 points is still a lot to go after, though (even though the horns got it twice last year)

Not happy that I lost so many points waiting to play this, but this play just has to do with the fact that the Cal's been underrated for the pasy 2-3 years and Tennessee . . . hasn't. Knoxville hasn't been intimidating for some time.

Cal -2

Penn State is going to be strong later in the year, but the offense will have to find their style. Hopefully, it takes them well into the third quarter to find out. Akron won't be able to run on Penn State, so I'm hoping they don't try - Getsy has his entire OLine back and should have some semblance of a pocket against Penn State's defense to be somewhat productive to keep this game within the number.

Akron +17.5

Virginia has called this a rebuilding year and Pitt has to win now to take advantage of Palko's senior year. But Wannstedt's never been one that wants a passing game to work and will do everything he can to keep this game on the ground. He did this last year and the only team that they averaged more than 3.7 yards a carry was against Youngstown St. Virginia's recruited well under Groh and there may not be that big of a dropoff. Worse case scenario for the Cav's backers in this game is being down by 10 late and facing a prevent.

Virginia +3.5

Would love to see the Trojans take a drop off, but don't see it happening
USC -8
