yea it is...thanx for the info...is Carter for GA any good? I've seen Matsumoto pitch, that kid is awesome...great fastball, slider...and I think 1 other pitch...he's also one of their best hitters...I think Japan takes this one...the Asian teams seem to always do well in the little league WS...

Carter is very good...

Carter is very good...

In one of his games he was hitting 79,80 and even 81 on the gun.
The 81 is equal to 106 from a major league mound. He has yet to give up an earned run in his last 3 games. Since then it's been more in the 74-76 range.

I think Matsumoto is even better. I think Carter will be pitched around. The kid behind Carter (Lester) has been hitting very well. But not that impressed beyond those two.

Think with better pitcher and slightly better bats Japan gets the job done.

Note: Also Japan has a little bit stronger fielding. gl

Great game..

Great game..

Both pichers were as advertised.

One note...after using a very liberal strike zone throughout the tournament, yesterday's home plate ump was squeezing both pitchers. Had he not, they would have been even more dominant.
