Vanished into vortex
I'm not sure how I missed it, I mean I slept through the entire football season and the playoffs, thank goodness I woke up in time to see the SuperBowl last night.

Man, I never thought the Packers would be in it to be honest.

I really wanted to live the rest of my life not seeing Chad Johnson win a single playoff game since he's a tool, but I guess I gotta eat crow on this one, you guys are the champs, nothing I can do about it.

Oh, wait??!?!? That wasn't the SuperBowl last night? Well somebody please tell ESPN and Jim Rome that breaking news because they seem to think Carson Palmer throwing against a garbage team like the Packers is somehow equivelent to the second coming of Christ.

Shake yourself Cincinatti, while you may be the best team in Ohio (boarderline since Ohio St plays there too) you still ain't shit.

You are still Cincinatti and you will ALWAYS be Cincinatti, nuff said.

Now please continue with your delusional fantasy of how you should have won the SuperBowl last year:sadwave:

On the course!
No shit, already. (Not so much about the Bengals, but rather the Packers)

Santana Dotson was on a local morning show Monday, and he said with the exception of Favre and Henderson, no one on Green Bay's current roster could have started on his team's in the 90's! (Mind you.....this was well before that night's blow out!)

He went on to add that an offense takes some time to gel under a new coach, but the defense has zero excuses. He thinks GB is in for another long ass season.

Allow us old men from small midwestern cities to embellish and indulge for awhile will you. Remember we have suffered under the dictatorial leadership of Mike Brown and his lieutenants Dave Shula, Bruce Coslet and Dick Le Beau for the last 14 years.

Its monday night, theres nothing else to do here except get excited about a meaningless, night exhibition game on a hot , steamy , muggy, we've been worried about Palmer coming back from an injury since he was brutally and maliciously mugged, raped, and mauled by some heathen upriver.

So please. A little understanding.

Besides that, remember what the greatest coach in the history of professional football said to the fans of Cincinnati when they were throwing snowballs on the field at a game in the late 80's:

"You don't live in Pittsburgh, you live in Cincinnati."

Besides that, you are wrong about the best team in Ohio. Its Cincinnati St. Xavier High School.

Eddie....I'm quite certain that your coach said "You don't live in Cleveland"
