I have had the opportunity to read the fine info on the MAC in this forum and as usual Gman and friends appear to be spot on in their analysis of the conference. That said, I would just like people to be mindful, that in my opinion, the MAC was down quite a bit last year and the rise to greater respectability will not occur overnight. I do believe that programs such as Kent, OU, WMU and CMU have a good chance to move forward IN CONFERENCE PLAY as the year progresses, but I also believe that there will be some growing pains involved when stepping up in class to face some stronger programs early in the year.

Playing these tonight and will add a play or two for saturday.

BC -11 Too much size and muscle, Snead may not see many holes to scoot through tonight.

EMU +4' Taking the points in a near toss up. The visitors can win this one and a ML play is not a bad idea.

Northwestern/ Miami over 55 Great weather and two shitty defenses. Let the track meet begin.

Minny -14( bought the hook) Gophers are thin and young in the backfield, but still should dominate the front in Kent tonight.

Good luck to all and tread lightly tonight, the best is yet to come.

Agree with you on BC. That line has been steadily dropping. I'm waiting till gametime to pull the trigger. Also agree with you on EMU, even though Carl would disagree. That game should be about as pretty as the Buffalo/Temple game. I grabbed some Kent St. at +17 early in the week but I may lay off some with Minny -14.

Good luck.

Actually thinking about taking the OVER in the Sneed rushing yards prop of 92'. They pretty much have to give him 20+ carries and Im just not sold on anybody in that LB crew other than Toal.

Not sure about this one, You would think that he should get the carries if CMU does not fall far behind early. Coach Kelly may also be wise to try to isolate him on a linebacker through short passes.
Snead can catch the ball very well and this could get him the ball while avoiding the BC massive front. Also, Kelly can get untested QB Brian Brunner some easier throws in an attempt to settle his nerves.

A total yardage prop may be a better play if its out there somewhere.

Totally agree, as I think hes good for 30-50 yards rec out of the backfield. Unfortunately the linesmakers arent gonna take chances and put that line out there.

He's clearly the best player on offense, at least CMU's, and should get touches. The negative is that BC is most likely playing ball control and pounding the ground also.
