BC -11.....lineplay is on a different level, and will wear down Directional Michigan tonight. Think by the 4th quarter the CMich defense will be so winded by the size difference you'll see a complete break down.

Minny -14....Gophers love to open up the year with a ton of offense, and Mason is not shy to run it up. Past four season they've averaged 48 points in their openers, against what I'd consider to be similar competition to Kent. Last year Kent averaged 45 ypg on the ground, Minnesota around 350 ypg. I know that Maroney is gone, and he was a stud, but something has to be said for that run blocking scheme. Cupito is back at QB and likes to put up numbers against the bad teams. Minny will be exposed in the Big Ten for the talent lost, but Kent is a far cry from a Big Ten school.

Give me the road chalk to start the year :scared

Very unlike O'Brien to pass so much with the lead, letting Central Mich back in the game (and blowing the cover in the process)

BC is usually one of my favorite horses to ride, but this was not a good first game, and not indicative of the typical grind it out style I've come to expect from them.

On a brighter note it's nice to see the Minnesota rushing attack is still clicking on all cylinders against the bottom dwellers. Great team to back when they play a doormat, Mason has no problem running it up.

Fun first night, look forward to the weekend.
