Have a feeling we will see a "3" by gametime - UT gets an early chance to avenge last year's horrific season, and if they don't get this one it may mark the beginning of another long year

Well we might see a 3 by gametime, but it looks like the Vols will be the dog

Having a hard time understanding the line movement here - understand that the public is going to side with CAL but that line move suggests something other than simple public movement

That all being said, I'm going to double up here - I was wrong about the direction of the line but still feel confident that UT will win the game

UT squad playing to absolve themselves from association to last year's disgrace, and all will be forgotten very quickly for Fulmer moving forward with a win here - Cutcliffe being back is huge, and also, this is a big chance for an SEC school to gain bragging rights for its conference against a PAC10 school - as many know there have been issues b/t the 2 conferences that have been agitated by LSU/AUBURN vs USC situations over the past few years

Bottom line - it will not be easy for CAL to waltz in to Neyland and out-physical the VOLS - I think that the home field advantage in this one will be huge and I think Ainge will surprise many with his performance Sat night

UT 27 CAL 17

I am looking at this game.... lots of factors still out in my mind. Love that UT gets their old Offensive Co back and he has the line, QB and WR to have an immediate turn around. Still the record of UT at home over the past few years looks like rocky top isn't as hard of a place to play as it once was.

Cheers

Another important factor in my opinion:

Another important factor in my opinion:

Anyone who has seen glimpses of Ainge realizes that, if nothing else, this kid has a world of potential

The fact that this is his job now is important in my eyes - he sounds extremely confident and can now just play the game without looking over his shoulder for Clausen or wonder whether or not he'll play the next series regardless of his level of play

Never been a fan of the 2 QB system and I believe that Cutcliffe + Ainge > Fulmer + (Clausen+Ainge)

Adding:

Adding:

UNT +41.5 5 units
RICE +14.5 2 units

GT + 7 5 units

Has any team in recent memory gotten as much hype as this Irish squad? And yet they have been bet down to 6.5 at most shops? Reggie Ball, Calvin Johnson, Chan Gailey and a potentially average Irish D seem to be a recipe for a tight game

Hate that f'n song but it sounds great today!!

Good ol' Rocky Top!!!!!

Bump RICE to 7 units - see 15.5 now, will wait until just before kickoff to throw down the last 5 units

And, as always, good luck no matter who you're backing

Adding:

Adding:

Said I wasn't going to play it, but I wouldn't be able to live with myself in the morning

ARK + 8 5 units

19 returning starters (minus McF supposedly, big loss, but....) off season issues for USC and I'm guessing A LOT of reminders of 70-17 - think the Hogs "D" has heard the #70 this offseason?

Well a complete and utter lack of discipline in regards to ARK - said all week that I wasn't going to play it and got swept up in the situational aspect of the game as it was about to kick - all in all a good day though

3-2 +11 units

Back with Sunday's action in a bit

What up freak.

You think the Tigers are gonna miss Skyler as a punt returner????

If the OL doesn't shape up, Auburn will be kicking our a$$ in 2 weeks.

Play Baylor +7 ;)

Going with CIE GRANT

Going with CIE GRANT

Will play Baylor +7 for 5 units

Have made many big plays on Baylor as a home dog in the past few years, including a GOY type play on them when they dismantled A&M recently as 25 pt home dogs - like the direction of the team and will take this opportunity to back them as a nice single digit doggie against a preseason Top 25
