Give Urban Meyer another full year, ST. I think the Gators will be the best in the state by the end of the year.

2nd best team in fl is ST.Tomas A maybe Lakeland again or Wellington outside shot alan niece or st.augustine maybe palm beach gardens.
Lakeland is pretty flippin good - could probably beat most 1AA teams.... and what institution of higher learning is the beneficiary of such a quality program? Thats right kids, UF....
i worked as a ga at fl um can win every game he coaches but school only pays 1/3rd of his check gator club or boosters for those who don't know th Gc oays 2/3rds + about another 160 grand for assts. so he better cover every game spread wise these people bet a ton of cash each game on fl no handicapping at all just very rich fat cats lot come right around the corner in ocala with their horse farms for race horses, this is no shit . believe me or not could care less i know i am right on this statement i made i was under joe aronald ny last year won more baseball games then anyone will at fl but had a few life problems i can relate to and g.hall was their before steve came in and had 2 years to see it with steve and how it all worked even after i left and did summer camps there. at fl the gator club owns and runs the sports also tons of cash from palm beach i mean mega cash.
B.stick right on the head if they are from lakeland they either leave state or play at FL the top ones at FL. and i know lakeland could beat many 1-aa teams and d-3 and d-2 teams this is a high school with college football players as freshmen.
Fletch - I walked on UF baseball before tearing my cuff for the last time. Coach Arnold hooked me up with a job at UAA after that - wouldn't have beat out Joey (his son) for the final spot anyway...
Joe was a great teacher to me so since you cmae there u know the off field problems he has, i had them to will always have them but they are unde conrol mine and joe's who is a big time scout now.
thay was a touchy with joey but he did not count as a full ride he as free same as mike martain at fsu, Joe is a great person in my book and will always be we talk at least 1 time a month and i see him every time i go to fl but when last spot is up and your kid is their you know your screwed least mikes son could was a good catcher ok arm and bat but very good at framinf, joey on the other hand i have not much good to say about him, but hey what are you going to do give the last spot away and he was last i know guys who were 11-12th players he knocked out, least you had the roc to make you fell better, you might have been there if not for that so least you had somethimg hard besides joey to overcome, and sounds like to me you had it tore more then 1 time. and a walk on who went that far at fl is a great goal made i itself, don't know if you every looked at it that way or leasr back then it was tou should be proud of what you did.

funny, everyone says the same - Joe was a great guy and coach (my friends on the team absolutely love the guy). He always seemed really laid back. I didn't talk to him too much, Ted Tuma (sp?) was the guy who scouted our school and got me to walk on (didn't play at all after the 4th game of Sr. year)
And everyone says the same about Joey - punk. We played GHS and the guy was nonstop tlaking shit the whole game... wish I was pitching in that one...
