Wow seems like just yesterday. NOT. It took NFL season a long time to get here & I'm ready for some football.

I'm gonna do this little by little, just in case something terrible happens and it has before. Lost entire writeup. No mas. :nono:

Buffalo @ New England -8

No McGinest, Washington & Vinatirei, oh my!!
Not a problem as they still have Brady, Belichick & that killer "D" line and that's all they need to cover this spread, against the Bills who are a lowly 0-5 ATS in away openers & 7-13 on the division road.

Patsies are 8-1 ATS as chalks in HOs & 15-5 ATS AFC East favs.

Rout!!!

Played New England -8

Denver -3.5 @ St. Louis

Not to happy about the hook hanging off the end of this one.

Rams finished with the 2nd worst "D" LY & couldn't run the ball to boot.

Broncos on the otherhand finished #2 in Rushing "D" & returns 10 of 11 "D" starters.

Rams come in as a decent 12-4 ATS as hosts of AFC teams & are 6-1 as non-division HDs.

Broncos counter with a solid 9-3 ATS ROs & are on a 12-4 non-division run.

Tough play but one nonetheless.

Senor, glad to see you back for another season! I always read your threads. In my opinion, you are one of the best NFL cappers here. Just curious, what's your take on the Chiefs/Bengals game. I know you follow the Chiefs closely. Thanks in advance.

Not looking into this game but...

First off the Bad News: Bengals played their best ball on the road LY & are currently on a stunning 11-1 ATS road run.

The really Bad News: Bengals are on the road.

On the brightside KC is 10-2-1 ATS in Home Openers.

Regardless it's a no-play for moi, but obviously I'll be rooting hard for my beloved.

I think Bengals have a very good shot at going in and opening their season with a win. They could be super bowl contenders. How is their D though? Can they stop the run? Last year I believe their rush defense sucked, and LJ might eat that up. Might hit the over?

The other games look good, Pats and Denv, yum yum.

I like denver also, i think its going to be to hard for st louis to stop denvers running backs in the 2nd half. GL this season

Sorry GOOSE I'm not ignoring you.

I was pondering a few upsets such as NYG, GB, New Orleans & possibly Oakland

The ones I like the best & played were the NYG & Da Aints, both with the hook of course ;)


Aints are 7-1 ATS in road openers

Brownies are 1-5 ATS in home openers

New Orleans is NOT a posted play. As I haven't put much time towards this game.
I grabbed the hooks early. Which has dropped off in alot of houses.

Adding Arizona Cardinals -7.5

'Zona beat by 17 LY in Mexico.
This year with new stadium, RB & whatever the trouncing should be the same if not worse.

Hook sucks but Dilfer blows.
