So. Cal
I was watching old footage of Young while Espn is milking this upcoming game for everything it is worth. And it got me thinking of how great Vince was.

The first time I saw vince was against Kansas when Texas was about to lose in the 4th quarter down by like 10 points against a KU D that was good for the year but great in that game. On 4th and however many yards I was already getting very excited, and Vince jukes a KU lb out of his shoes and runs for 20 yards calmly just pass the first down mark. They went on to score twice very easily off mainly Vince's plays. Vince later went on to win me money in the Rosebowl as I didn't think he could lose. And I have yet to see this guy lose.

It got me thinking, if VY was on Texas roster this year, I would think Texas could be even money to start the year out as an NC prop. Maybe even -110 or something to win it all!

Pretty worthless post, not that it is much better than anything else i say around here. :mj07:

But he cant throw and runs a gimmicky high school offense that cant work against a real team and coach like USC and Pete Carroll.

Sincerely, Scott 4 USC

Yes because he sat out week 1, and only took half the snaps in preseason because of the suspension. not to mention, he missed all of the practice time for the bowl game. If he's the number one guy going into the 2005 season, I believe OSU wins. Just my opinion.

Young

Young

I can't believe people are still making excuses for USC's loss to Texas, get a life. Vince Young was one of the better college QB's in quite a while. He wasn't the best passer, but made major improvements going into last season. He is the best running quarterback that ncaaf has ever seen. If he wasn't that great quarterback he wouldn't have gone that high in the draft. NFL scouts aren't stupid people and wouldn't take a poor QB ahead of greats like Matt Leinhart.

Well, I'm hoping for a close exciting game, but if the Bucks blow em out, I won't be upset! And if the Bucks lose, I'll be crying in my beer for a week or 2.

VINNY!

VINNY!

I am not saying texas will win, I am not playing the game. I just want to make the point that vince young was an outstanding qb and led them to the national championship. USC lost, Ohios state could easily win.
