2-4 (-6.48 units) yesterday
157-128 (+41.88 units) since all star break

For those of you who follow my picks, I lost back to back nights for the first time in a long time. I said when that happens I was done for the year. Not that I am losing, but I just want to stop and concentrate on football. I think we are all burned out on bases. It is a day to day grind and I am more than ready to give up.

My phillies are now three out of the wildcard race. They are playing good ball, but I cannot believe how many games they have lost in the 9th or 10th ionning the past week or so. The padres just don't want to lose. I said yesterday that the pads just keep finding ways to win and they did again last night in 10 innings.

Florida has even caught my phillies and they play at florida for 4 games starting today. It is a must they at least split this series or they are done. If they would only win one of the four, they would fall even two games behind florida, let alone the team leading the wildcard race. It should be an interesting race, but I am not as excited as I was a week ago when the phils were only a half game out.

I hope I made some of you money in the second half of the season, because I am sure I cost some people money in the first half. I plan on still chipping in with some picks and opinions, but not keeping track of my picks anymore. Time to hang up the spikes until next season.

Going to kick back and watch my Miami Dolphins beat the Steelers tonight.

Good Luck Everybody!!

GL Mark! Been a huge Dolphin fan for years myself....My eyes will be plastered to that TV tonight! My best friend since elementary school is a die hard Pittsburgh fan and we've been talk'n smack for months about this game. It'll be a close game...hopefully MIA can take advantage, but I really liked them even without Ben in there for Pitt. With Vegas opening up that line at -4 that was way too low IMO......That line was screaming Pitt money. This injury does throw a loop in things now since everyone loves MIA, but I'm look'n for big things from the fish this year and it all starts tonight! REALLY like Nick Saben! Great pick up by the organization..the guy is a winner and has NFL experience before now! GO FISH!!!!!!

I also want to say thanks to you, Mark. I looked for your posts regularly and especially liked your write-ups. I didn't always follow your suggestions, but you influenced my decisions on numerous occasions, usually with favorable results.

Thanks!:toast:
