cincinatti, albeit not world beaters won their opener against the school of the blind, but at least worked out some kinks. they return 10 defensive starters and shutout the blind school. but its tough to shut out anyone in college ball.

pitt beat cincy by 18 last year at home and covered, so the line is about right, but gimme a break. wanny as road chalk???

this is a pretty big play for me. i don't play often in the ncaa as for me there are better opportunities, but nothing justifies pitt laying over a touchdown.

You're talking about last year's stats...which should be discounted because they brought in a new coach and a new philosophy. Things don't necessarily turn around from year one to year two (like they'd like) but things should start heading in the right direction.

Line: I believe the line is trying to entice those that don't think PITT can win by more than a TD. However, I see most of the money is going PITT's way but the line isn't moving...so that scares me.

This game isn't on my radar, but I don't see how you can love Cinci just because a first year coach had a bad season.

I tend to disagree. BDB actually puts together - quite often - useful posts that actually involve Gambling. He had a strong opinion that the coaching of Pitt was a good reason to take Cincy. What in gods name does Pitts defense vs the defenses of the Pac 10 schools have to do with the outcome of this game? Just strikes me as pathetic homerism. Like he was wounded someone would talk bad about Wandstache? If you want to cheer for your team/conference and "talk smack" there are plenty of boards for that. I thought this is a gambling forum for actual matchups that are happening on the field. Not for imaginary matchups like the Pitt defense versus all Pac 10 defenses in some type of imaginary cage match or round robin, loser leaves town match. You have alot of posts to your name, but quality over quantity is something maybe you should consider. Disagree with his post? Tell me why Cincy sucks more than Pitt. That might have been useful.
