Grabbed Cal -7 as line is already moving at some spots.


Overblown reaction to the awful performance on Saturday in Rocky Top, coupled with Minnesota's blowout of a hapless Kent State.

Will write this one up further.

i also grabbed calif. at -7 & lsu-14(120) as soon as the lines came out.....at this point not sure if i will keep them but did think it was good value at those numbers.

As for the Cal play, I see a glaring weakness in the Minnesota secondary which plays in Cal's strength. I have faith that Tedford will not let this ship sink before we hit mid-September. Minnesota has a history of fast starts and big wins in September, but have not played anyone of this caliber out conference, especially on the road.

Idaho +18....saw a different attitude with this team already under Erickson, and this is a lot of points for a rivalry game.

LSU -14.5.....Zona offense is not ready for what it's going to face in the Bayou. Crowd is always great for these late in the days for LSU and this will be no different.

GL BM!!! That CAL game scares me...I know CAL is coming off a tough loss and is expected to be pissed, but Minny is no pushover coming from the Big 10 and are very well coached! CAL wins a close one, but I'll be root'n for a 10 pt victory for you!!

I sure hope that you are right and I am wrong on this one. LSU OL scares me to death. I do not see Zona winning, but I also do not see LSU offense scoring big unless the OL is a different one from last week. As usual, I was at the game last week and was very dissapointed with OL play. I watched the re-broadcast on wednesday night, and was equally dissapointed, especially in the 1H. It appeared as though UL-L was "out of gas" in the 2H.

As for the crowd being fired up, they will be. I do know of one crazed season-ticket holder who will not be in attendance :( . I brought my wife and baby to Destin, FL for the weekend. I will be watching on ESPN2, and no doubt rooting for you to pull this one out.

IE thanks for the injury update, I agree Wash State suffered a few more losses than Idaho in week one.

Good point about the OL, and I know you are much closer to the situation than I. My play is 75% an Arizona fade in this spot, based on what I saw of their offense last week against BYU this could be another long season for little Stoops. I'm banking on them getting to 28, which I feel will be enoughot for the cover. LSU always impresses me on these national tv games in the past, hope this is no different.

Final add before the day begins:

CMU +28....this team impressed me a bit against BC, enough to make me think they can score ten points or so in the Big House, which should be enough for the cover. Michigan has ND on deck and I am sure is not going to show off their whole playbook just yet. Expect Michigan to get up, then just sit on the lead. Don't think they'll have much trouble staying within the number.

I like the CMU play a lot. I have it in a two team teaser up to +35! Other team is VTech -5.5. GL on all your plays.

Like the Idaho game, this team isn't on many radars because of how bad they used to be but with a new coach and new attitude this team will come to play. GL this weekend.
