dont claim to be a expert, I just believe in my
plays.
I spent alot of time getting to this point. Now lets just play the game, and I cash the ticket.

The only other time a Spurrier team was held without points came during his first year as a college coach in 1987, when Duke lost 7-0 to Rutgers -- a span of 193 games.

Well that pretty much sums up how this game went. The Junkyard dogs defense stepped up and kicked the Gamecocks in the crackers.
Joe T made it a simple decision for Richt as he went down in the first quarter with a ankle injury and never returned. Will be hard for him to take back the starters role now. I would say that its Staffords to lose.
Very nice play for a true freshman to come in this type of game and play the way Stafford did.

Even with 3 interceptions, its a learning curve for him in a first game. He will learn to take care of the ball. The guy is the real deal.
Cannot say enough about Brown, Ware, and Lumpkin. They made it a easy game for Stafford as they got the Bulldogs out of trouble many times with break off runs.
Blake Mitchell looked lost out there. Spurrier may have to replace him with that Smelly guy.
Them gamecocks sure had alot of fight in them though. No wonder Miss State's defense looked so good against the cocks last week. Hmmmm
