YTD - 3 - 3 +5.5 units

Well what could have been a great week last week turned into a pedestrian one when I wasn't able to lay off of ARK on Saturday and then Baylor found a way to not cover on Sunday - but no used crying over spilled milk, esp when a card like this week's presents itself

Will be pulling my plays from the following list of games - just need to complete my studies so as to attach units to these bad boys:

AFU
MTSU
UNLV
ZONA
Miss St U
CMU
TEMPLE
TROY
BC
CUSE
South Carolina
Fresno
Texas

Won't play all of these but will probably play most - back with units, lines, analysis in a bit

Big plays

10 Units AFU +20

As stated in other threads, UT coming off of a VERY important and emotional win last week - that was a must win, and TENN definitely laid it on the line early - after it was 35-0 and CAL inserted Ayoob, though, the TENN letdown began - I see that continuing this week

Now in comes an option attack that UT probably hasn't spent a lot of time on, esp considering the fact that their arch-rivals are on tap for next week (UF) - classic sandwich game which is made more enticing by a bunch of different factors (big line, option attack, etc) Kudos to the TENN coaching staff if they are able to get their players to come in and win this one big, I simply don't see it happening

7 units TROY +30

So don't you think they've been partying at FSU for the past 4-5 days? And potentially looking forward to the Bowden Bowl (where they had their asses kicked last year)? Why in the world would any Nole player be super-fired up for this one? Again, kudos to Bobby if he has his team ready to win in blowout fashion today

Back with more in a bit

And as always, good luck no matter which sides you choose

5 Units CUSE +19

Iowa may be looking ahead to ISU next week, as they had their asses handed to them in Ames last year - not always easy to go into a dome stadium and feel completely comfortable, and the Orange are a better team there and a better team against non-conf competition as their 23-8 ATS record in that situation since 1999 can attest

2.5 units MISS ST+21

Too many points for an SEC team with a tough defense to be receiving at home - AUBURN is obviously solid but may be a little overconfident and underconcerned in this tilt as arch-nemesis LSU looms on the schedule - look for a knock-em-down, drag-em-out style game where 21 seems like a lot

2.5 Units TEMPLE +40.5

UL off of rivalry game LW vs. Kentucky (don't laugh, it is a rivalry game) with big bad MIAMI on deck (big and bad in UL's minds at least) UL played inspired ball last week and may also have a little let down from the BUSH situation

2.5 units UNLV +14 -120

ISU off of 2 OT thriller with Toledo and have IOWA on tap - UNLV will be playing with some confidence here off of 54-10 blowout win vs Idaho St (I don't care who it was, if you are 1-0 in a new season off of a 54-10 win you are feeling good about yourself) - there is a reason this line has dropped from 16 all of the way down to 13.5

2.5 Units MTSU +23

The Fridge has developed a nice little rivalry with WVU HC Rodriguez, guessing this TERP squad may be thinking ahead to sweet revenge vs the Mountaineers after losing the past 2 games in that series - Remember, those 2 have met a couple of times in bowl games as well (UM/WVU)

2.5 Units ZONA +16

Will get added value as I am located 1 hour from Baton Rouge, thus the 16 (will prob get more) - payback on the Wildcats' minds from a 59-13 thumping at ZONA in '03 - LSU seeking payback next week from Auburn, watch out for this one, Stoops looking for landmark win, weather down here is rainy right now, who knows? Would play more on this one but just can't as an LSU fan, will parlay to the under, heeding the advice of one CIE GRANT

Back with more.....

2.5 Units CMU + 28

In state rivalry and MICH has battle with ND looming, where they will be looking for revenge from LY - not sure about BC's defense but CMU offense looked pretty decent last week - 4 TD's obviously quite a bit

2.5 Units TEXAS -2.5

So the buckeyes are just going to roll into Texas and gain revenge from LY right? Simply feel here that homefield advantage will be the key, OSU been talking trash for a while about this one and the HORNS will be fired up, as will their fan base - big game, home team pulls out the win
