though i was disgusted by the way that he acted upon leaving our team, i'm happy to see him playing well. if he comes back healthy next year and gets to 500 hr's, he'll have a strong argument for the hall.
that's going to be a big series. looking at the #'s, i'ma little surprised how good we've been against the west this year. not usually the case. gonna be a hell of a series with the twins to close the season. who'd of thought all 3 teams would be within 3 games down the stretch!
"Invested" in 30 of his Topps Rookie Cards back in1990 at a buck a piece. Should have unloaded when they were 5.00 each. Man if he didn't have those injuries my kids might have been able to go to college.
