Can't believe they didn't just punt. You can't tell me these coaches don't know what the spreads are. I have no money on this game but if I had Cincy, I would be pissed.

no money on it either. sound reasoning gman, bad break. of course these coaches know the spread. and they try and cover whenever they can to appease boosters. especially big programs.
cincinatti was probably the right side and it was a dick move to kick a 52 yard field goal, but he has higher ups and boosters to account for.

what sucked the most was the cinncinatti douchebag not falling on the ball rather than trying to pick it up and run.....did a lineman really think he was going for 6?

that fg placed both the spread and total into a middle-middle status from the opening line of 30.5/42 to the closing line of 29/45....not to mention the above listed 2h wager of under 23 for gman

what a complete fuk job by tressel.......i half expected him to go for it on 4th down if it were 4th and 5ish but to attempt a 52 yard fg on 4th and forever, with under 2 mins left.....a joke.

Well, for those that weren't able to actually see it, the real blame is the Cinncy defender that couldn't pick up a football. OSU QB fumbles and kicks the ball 10 yards away from him; only one in the area is a Cinncy defender, but he tries to pick it up and run with it and instead trips over it and allows an OSU lineman to catch up to the play. Just an unbelievable sequence!

yep, got fu.cked every which way on that one. in a sense, tressel did what i expected which was get 2nd and 3rd stringers action. but gimmie a break -- kicking a 52 yarder with 1:00 left? nothing worse that snatching defeat from the jaws of what for all and intents and purposes was an easy victory.

the fg doesnt bother me as much as passing the ball every play in garbage time to set it up....should have never been a fg decision

What a fricking joke. 52yd fg with 1:14 left. Should have just run the ball and the clock out. I went for the middle and thought it was in the bag.
I do not care what Ohio st. fans say kicking a 52 yard fg at the end of the game that is over is classless. Hope they lose at Iowa which more than likely they will.

All of you complaining about the plays that were made by OSU are being ridiculous. They had a fourth stringer in there trying to get some experience and if not for an uncoordinated joker for UC the game ends and Cincy covers. Do you think it is classy for USC or Louisville going throwing with starters well into the fourth quarter up 40 points? Is it classy for L'ville to go for a fourth and 5+ on their side of the field in the first half up 35? The kid who came in and hit the 52yd field goal is the backup who may get some time and Tressel wanted to get him an opportunity to build a little confidence. Do I wish they would have punted the ball? Yeah, but it didn't happen and lets be honest Ohio State did not play well and should have more than covered the spread.
