After all my Costco posts about Hi-Def TV's I finally bought one. I'm waiting here at this moment waiting for Comcast to come and hook it up.

I went with a Vizio 42" LCD. They call it Gallevia Liquid Crystal HDTV. Man I've been looking at these for months. The picture on this one at Costco looked amazing. I'll let you know the details once it's all hooked up. can't wait to watch football on it.

OK........I am in shock. I bought my first Hi-Def TV in the year 2000, a Sony, not much to watch then because the Comcast box wasn't out yet. Then I got a 32" Phillips for the bedroom, that was pretty good with the Comcast box, but still not great. Got rid of the old big box Sony and picked up this Vizio LCD 42"........holy crap what a great picture. I watched lots of Hi-Def transmitted football yesterday and I thought I was seeing things............just an amazing picture. The TV didn't come with HDMI cables??? Should I get them or just leave it alone as is??

Get the HDMI Cables!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WalMart is the cheapest around by far! I had to visit 5 before I finally found the last one had 1 left.

Costco also sells them, but there are multiple cables .
