Well im jazzed to finally set up my nice new dog book and im ready for my first bet. I refresh the lines go to my pick and take Wisconsin getting 14.5. Bododg shoots me a message that the line changed in this three second span and it is now 14. I take the game anyway and tie. 400 dollars pissed away just like that. I have such a bad taste right now for this book. Is this what this book is all about? My very first bet and they dick me this quick?

Bodog is garbage imo, but i don't think they dicked you over. you probably bet within the closing 5 minutes when lines are super volatile.
give em the benefit of the doubt. late middlers on wisconsin with the hook, and if you tried to bet michigan -14.5 they would have alerted you to the line change and given you 14. a 400 dollar bet is peanuts and although i don't care for the book and its scalping of players on all odds, i don't think you got screwed over. books lost a ton on that game as it landed on 14 with 13.5's and 14.5's readily available til kickoff.

dont think you got dicked. i have lines change on me all the time. i know it sucks that you would have won. thats why if i see a line and juice i like i bet it early.

MJO i wouldn't mind if it changed but i refreshed the lines 3 seconds before i bet it. that is what tick me off the most. If i didn't refresh it id have no problem.
didn't mean 400 was peanuts, but in the grand scheme of a books take on each game 400 is nothing. not personal to you. but when a book takes 10s of thousands of bets on college football sunday on each side, 400 isn't much. that's what i meant.
as for why they suck, i don't want to waste jacks bandwidth. they constantly offer the worst lines and juice on anything. look at pinnacle and spiros place and carib and cris, and every time you will find better deals. not necessarily better numbers on spread bets, but better juice when the same number and better odds on everything else. they don't scalp and 20 cent lines blow.

Bleed i knew what you meant about the 400 dollars i was just kidding. I do think you are saying it sucks because you are a favorite bettor. there is no doubt in my mind that the way pinnacle is set up they are from what i see the best book around. they are so easy to navagate but the bottom line to me is their lines suck for my type of betting. The stuff you say about the juice tho seems to be dead on.
