My first bet of the NFL Year. My rule is no bets till week 3, I have consistently had a significant percentage of losses in the first 2 weeks of the year and its hard to wait!
I have been looking at the matchups this week for the pat three weeks so here they finally are:
CHI -3
I don't understand this line. The Johnson led Vikings barely got by Carolina last week and Chicago is eager to pitch another shutout. Last week the Lions put up a touchdiwn against Da Bears, the Vikes won't be so lucky.
CAR -3
This is more a pick against the ugly Bucs than for the Panthers.
BAL -6.5
I am afraid of this pick as the Ravens are evrybody's darling this week. I see the Balt D shutting down the Brownies, and Air McNair putting at least 13 up on the board. Under might be a good play but not for me...
NYG +3.5
The Gigantos fly across the country to upset the battered Hawks. Seattle continues to have trouble with their O line and Alexander is sore. It all will ride on Hasselbecks arm and his judgment. I'm thinking GIGANTOS!!!!!!!!
PHI -6
A pick against the weakest division in football.
NE -7
New England doesn't lose at home and Plummer isconfused. Was he the QB riding his motorcycle without a helmet?!?:mj07:
