god i love when i hear things like this from somone that loves his team but thinks it has no shot.
I don't mean to be a dick here but if you think vegas sets a line to get equal action on both sides you need (if you bet) to study this craft a little bit better. This game is a prime example how they mislead you Everyone and their mother is on the Ravens but the line hasn't moved that way at all.
Ummmmm Vegas does NOT set the line to get equal action............. they set it where they stand to make the most money, and if that involves the public all siding one way, then so be it.

I have been under the impression a line making group (LVA I think) make the lines.
Why would Vegas want a ton of money one way or the other??
They would be happy to make a ton on the vig..
Why would they expose themselves and let a ton of cash go one way..
My point, I dont think Vegas is trying to "fool" anyone.. The line is the line and sometimes the squares are right..
With all the money on the Ravens now a move past 7 allows for a huge middle opportunity..
Vegas surely doesnt want that...
So the liine stays as it is

i went ahead and pulled the trigger on balt. they have looked dominate and cleveland so-so. nothing big, i dont bet alot of money, just enough to keep it interesting.

I would have thought this line open up at 10. I know many people have stated when you think you are getting free money, youre not.
I have loved Balt all week, but scared to pull the plug. Vegas was not built on free money or rides. This is too easy. It is what they want the pulbic to perceive, thats where they generate their actions.

I think the perception that Vegas sets "traps" is an overblown myth. These companies are well run and profitable business, not gamblers.
