WTF. This line is ridiculous. I know Nebraska has major revenge after they got their ass kicked in Lawrence last year. KU radio affiliate (out of KC) signal can be heard in Lincoln- and all summer trying to sell KU season tix have been replaying quotes from play-by-play guy screaming about the ass whoopin' during last years game. So no question there is extra motivation for Huskers.......
BUT - this line is INSANE. I have Nebraska maybe a 4-6 pt. favorite on a neutral field. I'll add 4 pts for home field and 4 pts. for revenge.

I still come up with -14 @ the biggest #. This is begging for KU $$ which always concerns me. Anyone else see this # as too many?

I jumped on this immediately last night.

I guess they're hoping KU is going to turn it over more than 5 times because the Nebraska defense is better than Toledo?

No idea, but I definitely made the play.

this line is vegas making an adjustment. huskers are a much better team than the experts thought they'd be. that said, i think nebraska is about 10 points better on a neutral field. add in your revenge, and the homefield advantage (for which i would allow more than the standard in this case. night game in lincoln with revenge.) i think this line is pretty close. it opened at 20.5, and quickly went to 21 with juice on the fav.

maybe kansas covers it, but i don't think you would need to buy to 21.5, there will be 23 later in the week.:SIB

i am a husker fan, so you can take this for what it is worth. this is not the same team that stunk last year in lawrence. they are firing on all cylinders and seem to have intangibles such as team chemistry working for them also. they are fairly deep also so should wear teams out as the game goes on. the only major weakness has been well documented as the secondary. i dont feel that kansas is the type of team to take advantage of this--as usc was. i dont know much about kansas this year but certainly their game scores are not impressive. i played nebr. at 19 onsunday night and now my only question is do i want to buy some back if it hit 22 or more. i am not a homer as i dont hesitate to go against the cornmen when the time is right. obviously that was quite often the last few years. lol best of luck

Kind of sounds like KU coach Mangino is leaning towards playing senior Adam Barmann at QB again this week against Nebraska .... believe he said wasn't sure yet on the QB decision, but Meier would have to be 100% in order for him to start and I don't think that will be the case .... Mangino might want to protect his freshman QB a bit and let the more experienced Barmann play in this tough road trip for the Jayhawks .... I see this game being close 1st half and then Nebraska wearing down KU defense and breaking it open in the 2nd half.

If Barman starts, I like Nebraska BIG. Barman is a prototype drop back passer and the front 7 for Nebraska will eat him up. Meier is more mobile and offers KU more options offensively. I still think Nebr covers the number as their offense is clicking both running and throwing, making it very hard to prepare for if you are KU. NU QB Zach Taylor is very accurate throwing the ball and rb's Marlon Lucky and Kenny Wilson are running it well.

You were right on the # going up....@ 22.5 now. I must not be seeing the improvement in Nebraska that obviously others are. La Tech, Nichols St., and Troy are not exactly a Litmus test. They did take the air out of the ball vs. USC and managed to play them about as well as Arizona, who IMO, is a solid team. USC still managed the cover and could have scored more. We will see...I'm taking the points. Rock Chalk Jayhawk!

Could someone explain all the Love for LSU??? Is it because someone on this board from LSU says they like them? This game is being played at the Swamp and LSU is favored and Everyone likes them... I'm definately considering the contrarian play with the undefeated, home doggie Gators.

I need to figure if DeShawn Wynn is going to play RB for Florida this Saturday. Right now, he's questionable and his status will determine if I play Florida as a rare home dog.

I wouldn't worry about Wynn. We have three other prominent setbacks; Havrin, Moore, and Tebow!.
