I really like Ga. Tech +10'

Line was at 9 two days ago. GTech is very well coached, esp. on defense. VTech's offense is not very good. Should be a conservative, defensive battle.

Why I say they are so well-coached...thats a huge advantage against Beamer-Ball. Beamer relies on rubes like Bunting and Amato, etc. He takes advantage of aggressive coaches deep in their territory as well as teams that can't block on special teams. Gailey and company too smart for that.

The one variable is Reggie Ball. Never know what this nut is going to do. But, putting him at 33/33/33, meaning there is a 66% chance that he doesn't do something bad....I like my chances.

Not to mention line movement indicates public is all over VaTech, and Hokies have suspended a couple guys. Jackets cover....

Reggie Ball is susceptible to things beyond his control.

Last year vs Uconn, he left the game in the first quarter with a migraine headache.

Thanks for the stats. All I was going on was that my site had GaTech +9 on Tuesday, and now its GaTech +10 1/2. I like 10 1/2 a lot but I agree, never know with Ball.

Jackets star Johnson questionable for game

Star Georgia Tech receiver Calvin Johnson (thigh injury) practiced Thursday, but coach Chan Gailey said his leg is bothering him enough that there will be a "game-day" decision as to whether he plays Saturday at Virginia Tech.

That process worked well for Johnson Sept. 21, when he said before the Virginia game he was ready. Then, he caught six passes for a career-high 165 yards and two long touchdowns.

Reserve receiver Greg Smith (undisclosed injury) is questionable.
