No good. Jack was out after maybe an hour, I lasted about 2.

Only thing to say is it was the Denny Crum Poker Open, and I did sit right next to Mr. Crum.

Very nice guy, and a pretty good poker player but he caught a cold deck when his KK ran into AA. Impressive that he didn't go busted with it but it crippled him.

This thing was a $555 buy in, you get $3,000 starting chips and the blinds begin at 25-25. First hand the guy to my left makes it $800 to go :wtf: and gets CALLED:eek: . The flop is raggy, 10-7-3, he goes all in, and the pre flop caller disgustedly folds Q-J offsuit face up as if he couldn't believe he missed:rolleyes: Of course the raiser showed AA:142smilie

3 hands later, I raise to 75 with 99, he reraises to 400 and 3 people call so I call. Flop is Q-2-2, all check to him and he bets 1,500 and gets called, so of course I muck. As they play the rest of the hand the guy shows me what he has.....2-6 offsuit, I shit you not:shrug: NICE reraise there pal.

The rest of the day was much the same. I guess higher buy ins really don't change the play that much. Not surprisingly, that guy got cracked when he called $500 preflop with K-2 and the flop was K-2-10, but he ran into K-10. He couldn't believe his misfortune:142smilie
