He and his boy Hendry are the biggest losers on the face of the earth. Good riddance. I boycotted after they ran Steve Stone out of Town. Total failure.

A local radio personality and long time Cub guy (Mike Murphy) has brought up that McPhail has his eye on the commish gig! Selig is done in 16 mths and Andy has been working closely with him concerning the players agreement.

Bill Clinton will be a front runner for that, and NO, I'm not kidding.

Steve Stone would be the best man for the job behind of course pedro guerrero.

I really thought I heard that billy boy was positioning himself for the job and that there was actually credence to it? maybe not.

Dusty gone

McPhail tried to resign two or three months ago, but it was "accepted" recently.

Hendry next

chance the new powers that be in the Tribune Corp are going to get top dollar for the team (big power struggle)

Personally I think McDonna (Stonie's old boss) brings him back into the program

Lot of Cub's fans in these parts abadone the team when Stony was dismissed, never to return
