all this shiet is getting me really paranoid, I have alot of money tied up in pinny, olympic, sportsbook, betcris...what is the best way to withdraw this money? Fedex Check, I'm thinking the check may be void in a few days when the banks decide not to accept them from gambling sites anymore...I don't want to withdraw it all to neteller, cuz what happens if they shut down also...

well, I'm certainly not enjoying reading any of this anti-gambling bill info, even though it seems there have been numerous instances through the years where it seems this stuff would shut down and it hasnt, you cant help but get a little worried if you have a bit of $ w/an offshore or esp. neteller, because like you said rcxslam, how would we then transfer $ around? also, can someone confirm/deny about partypoker "not accepting us deposits" I never read/saw that anywhere, does anyone know about pokerstars, it's bad enough I cant use my credit card anywhere b/c the bank declines it, then paypal went by the wayside, neteller has been awesome and i'd hate to see that go too, havent read nolans article yet as it is lengthy and jack obviously is optimistic but he kind of has to be also since it's his livelihood, but I have a good feeling that hopefully everything stays ok, what is it with these radical, freedom-stealing republicans, they have nothing better to do than worry about whether people bet on a football game?

I use instadebit for pinny...fast and free...

and myatmonline.com for DSI transfers (15 fee but they give you 10% rebate on funds deposited so its usually a wash at the end of the month)

I took out about half my money. Just to limit my risk. (I was going to take out 25% anyway, because I satisfied some rollover requirements). I am not a high roller.

BetJamaica to Neteller to Neteller ATM card. I will start taking my money out of the ATM tonight. Hope it goes well.

Leaving in enough money for this months bets and poker etc. I am not totally freaked out yet.

As long as the books try to stay open, I will find a way to deposit when needed. It's just a matter of them refusing to deal with US customers, or not.

Necessity is the mother of invention eh?

this is what gets me, how can they go after the banking institutions?

i dont think that it is illegal to wager online in a state that it offers it, like neveda right?

for example i live and have internet connection in Tijauna, of which offers sports wagering country wide.

therefore i dont think they can tell me that i can not use my american bank to transfer funds ofshore and make my bets from here in mexico.

i think they are going at it all wrong, they need to go after ISPs, let the ISP determine where service is being used and "how" it is being used.

Poker Rooms are legal in most states, therefore to do it online in a state where it is available then permit it. period.

stop going after financial institutions, go after ISPs.
