Clark not sold on this evans kid just yet. He made a few good passes like any qb would. However, most of the catches the fsu defenders had great coverage and the receivers made great catches. He just threw them up and his prayers were answered by the receivers. Not taking anything away from the kid but my concern would be are these receivers going to be able to make catches like that for him all the time? Not sure. I hope this win the public drives up the line when ncst plays at home vs wake next week. I will take the points and take as many as I can get. Not sold on the offense just yet. Not sold that this kid is a good qb. I would say the receivers made him look good today
ncstate had a ton of kids making plays to make evans look good. frankly, he looked intimidated by fsu's defense for most of the game. but the wolfpack receivers dominated and made game-changing catches. off the top of my head, there werent a lot of passes that were right on the money. it was more the receivers making terrific plays.

Clearly this team was geeked for this one. I was happy to be on their side when they decided to show up.
fresshman qb on national tv 2 weeks in a row brings his team from behind to win, tells me he can play this game! that team has confidence now because of him and wake will have a tough game on their hands if brown plays like tonite!
Got to give Evans a lot of credit here. Not only did he make some nice passes, he took advantage of having big receivers against small DB's, and he didn't make many mistakes.
His receivers made some nice plays as well, helping him out, but the ball was put where it needed to be almost every time.
He's no Philip Rivers, but he's already head and shoulders above Jay Davis, Marcus Stone, and anyone else they've had the last few years.
