That was terrible time management at the end, no doubt, but UW got screwed before that. On the play before they picked up a first down and the clock should have stopped with 6 seconds. They let it run down to 2, of course, being at home and all. The refs didn't catch it. That extra 4 seconds made the difference in not getting the last play off.

That is what Willingham was on the field yelling at, did he use up their challenges? And how did the NCAA booth not catch that? How pathetic

Then with all that confusion, how does the ref not wait for Washington to get set, I mean hell they were set for 10 minutes while they discussed the clock, then when they are huddled go up and set the ball, What in the F. They got screwed twice. The media wont even mention the fact that the refs huddled for close to 2 minutes and then set the ball when Washington wasnt ready. They probably still dont score, but they deserve the shot. I hate Pete.

I'm not sure. I looked like at one point he was telling the QB he screwed up by not getting the play in sooner. I could be wrong though. And I'm not sure about the challenges. I have no idea how that wasn't caught. There was even a loooong time from the end of that first down until the last play. I assumed they were reviewing it. Guess not...

Well Said, or Jarret living with Leinhart for free. Interesting tactics.

I don't think that play had anything to do with the new rules though. It was a first down, the guy got tackled with about 6 seconds on the clock, so it should have stopped right then. They let it run down to :02. The refs looked like they were going to correct it but never did. Don't think UW would have scored anyway but they should have had the :06 to try.

I honestly think Wash had at least a DECENT shot at scoring against SC, they had been picking their secondary apart all game, and quite a few times on that drive.

Oh yeah, they did have a decent shot. A fifteen yard completion is far from impossible. I just think more times than not, when SC knows they have to throw the ball in the endzone on the last play, they wouldn't score. Should have had the chance though...

I was really hoping SC would have killed washington, so the line would be nice and high for ASU. But depending on the injury situation wih SC wideouts, I might just have to play ASU ML. Unless both sc wideouts comeback healthy, i think line will be -10 to -13 SC.
