I was very happy to see that the oddsmakers made KU the underdog. KU generally performs better in the role of the dog. A&M has NOT played a road game since @ OU on 11/12/2005.

In other words, this will be QB Stephen McGee's first start on the road. Franchione is not a good coach. It is Homecoming for Kansas and I think they are the better team so......

P.S.

QB Meier has been cleared medically to play. Mangino is not saying who will start- game time decision. I don't think it matters a whole lot- I would prefer Meier though.

I wont call it "bank" but believe it is the right side. AM is one of the worst road teams in America the last 3-4 years. And losing to Tech is a crushing blow to their season. KU has a decent run defense and no pass defense...but AM cant throw the ball. And as we saw when they finaly faced a decent team...their pass defense is non-existent...

As a Texas fan I wouldnt mind an AM win ....they lose this game for sure fran gets canned and I want him to stick around.

I love Kansas as well... I believe they have won 8 consecutive home game in Lawrence (last loss was the BS Texas victory in 2004). Kansas also matches up very well with A&M. Great call Dr. Fade!

It hurts me to say it but I think KU is the right side as well. This is actually McGee's 2nd road start bc he did start that game agasint OU last year. It won't matter, hes got a concussion and a hurt shoulder and the coaches have no confidence in him. KU should win this by 10+

Looks like I'm the lone one on A&M in here....These teams are pretty evenly matched and this should be a close game, but if Kansas has won 8 straight at home and A&M has been so horrible on the road with this being the first road test of the season I ask.....why did Vegas set them as favorites here? If A&M were dogs...different story, but I see KU being a "trap" getting points at home with an 8 game home win streak on the line vs. a so called no good road team with an inexperienced QB. They could of easily put KU small favorites here....The ONLY thing that makes me not consider this a bigger play is the fact that A&M is coming off 5 straight home games and this being the first road game of the season, but still like it! Aggies by 7 in a close game! GL!

Also throw in that KU is coming off a tough OT loss to Nebraska....possible letdown for them.

good point RS

I have been liking KU myself this week but I have yet to play them. The thing, in addition to what you have said, that makes me nervous about the Jayhawks is that they gave Nebraska a dogfight last week.

The public may be under the perception that KU should easily handle A & M this week while playing at home AND getting a few points but they could be due for a letdown.

The betting % don't reflect that as 64% are hitting on the Aggies. Just a thought that pops into my head, thats all.

KU racked up 574 total yards of offense last week against Nebraska and were -5 in turnovers and it took OT to for the Huskers to beat them. Impressive.

I think the public perception will be that nebraska is not as good as they thought not ku being better. Ku starting to play well and were getting points on homecoming, i like the play and think ku wins by double digets

Though I always respect you rightside, KU lost that game for themselves and A&M deserved to lose. If KU wasnt the biggest pile of sh!t in D1 they would have covered easily

Agree with you BLG.

I do respect you RS... but not classy at all to go into someones thread, when they have just taken a bad beat where you were on the "right side" of a gift, and act like you capped this one correctly.

If you put that in there as a tongue-in-cheek joke or something, thats different of course.

Oh geeeez.....Of course I was kidd'n around. I'm sure Dr.Fade knows that.....I'm not like that at all. Hey...I liked Northwestern today and plenty liked Wisconsin and I lost that game. We win some...we lose some. I admit...I got "very" lucky with A&M today..no doubt. I guess I shoulda used a different smiley face or something or maybe shouldn't have even posted anything. My bad...I was just pumped at the time!

Well boys, that game blew. KU had the lead the whole game until 34 seconds remaining. This KU team has a knack of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Oh well, back to the drawing board.
