Remember all those fu-cking football and hoops bets we made on Florida?

Had an opportunity to go to the game Saturday and I went for it. Wrangled up a student section ticket off ebay.

As Corso says, you have to be A LOT better to beat the Gators in that setting. The home field advantage is pretty strong. Don't want to be going against them in short-lined games in The Swamp.

Not sure it's a great team, but Urban's doing some things right. Has the team playing real fast, and two of the Tebow play calls were brilliant. Pretty impressive for a true freshman.

chuckythegoat - holy shit man. reports of your demise have indeed been exaggerated.

its funny, this past ncaa season during the final four i was thinking about the florida run from the early 2000s in hoops when they knocked off some big time teams on their way to the title game. it was fitting that half a decade later, they returned to handle business. im not one to second guess my bets, but that might be one of the only ones i regret (not hedging, that is) because i just let that motherfu.cker ride on florida over michigan state. with miller and haslem and harvey - i thought they were gonna take it down. imo, they were better than the florida team that won it this year. they just happened to be up against a dominant msu team.

im glad the 'ol ball coach is back in the sec. he's good for football. sounds trite, but it's true. he makes watching south carolina football fun.

i trust that the swamp was a great venue to take in a game. youre a lucky man my friend. wise choice to take advantage of the opportunity.

It was a great venue to take in a game, for sure. The coeds were up to the task. Yeah, no other site that I wanted to see more.

My demise? Hard to say. Guess you could say I went legit, but laying down some bets is always fun.

Saw the ESPN trio on the sidelines. I think Herbstreit caught an errant Russell pass.

One opinion I'm throwing out there: Dolphins for Sun.

Later.

My buddy went to Florida and I got a chance to see a game down there... The atmosphere down there is incredible. Definitely, one of the best venues...

I have been to a UF game once a year for the past couple of years. The swamp is indeed one of the best atmospheres.
