Anyone else like the Eagles next week? I'm still not sold on the Aints being a great team. They're better than I initially though, I'll give them that, but I don't think they're as good as Philly. I think some people still might not believe in Philly because they were so bad last year. But last year was, in my opinion, a fluke. They were decimated by injuries. I think the Eagles will be right there at the end with the Bears. I think they'll be getting +2 or higher next week. I think they win SU. Thoughts?

I already put in bet phi -2.5 with extra juice though at pinnacle.

Saints were lucky to beat tampa bay on a punt return. Dont see them stopping westbrook or eagles dominate defensive line.

Holy crap. They're favored??? I guess the linemakers didn't factor in homefield too heavily huh?

Yeah, i dont think anyone believes the saints are for real yet.

If they win this one they can make a case.

I just dont think they have the offensive line or defense to be considered an elite team.

They will lose a couple at home this year and this looks like one of them. They also have cincy bal and car at home.

Yeah, like you said they should have lost at home to a weak TB team and their first win at home over Atlanta was all about emotion. I don't think that game had much to do with talent, it was just pure adrenaline and emotion. I'm not saying Philly will blow them out, but I would be very surprised if they didn't win.

in not to sure Brees will wait ten seconds for people to sac him or under throw wide open receivers. I aslo don't see him throwing to the other team with guys wide open. When you have one guy on a team playing like a fifth grader it tends to make the other team look a lot better than they actually are. I love all the sacks Bledsoe took and seeing the blitzes coming and not once changing the plays to throw quick slantz until there were two minutes left in the gam was hysterical. Payton Manning would have scored 75 points against that gimmick defense today but then again Peyton has some brains

If it was that easy then no one would blitz.
Slants do not work when a guy is geting jammed or a d line peels into a lane. A fake blitz , robber defense. etc.

New orleans wide outs a rookie and horn are not nearly as good as glenn and owens. they may not get open as often.

hey bud it wasn't the receivers fault. Brees will get guys balls and not sit back there for ten minutes waiting to take sacks. When you blitz eight guys there are always guys open. You run slants, draws, screens, instead of sitting like a lame duck having your guys running 40 yards. I think Manning put up around 50 on this gimmick defense a couple of years ago when they were a better defense. And he did it in Philly. Bledso started changing plays with three minutes left in the game. Is he this bad or just stupid?

Glenn my boy...your dead on with PITT/SD...good call my friend...I had my first bad swing of the season this weekend...wish I had listened to you..Pitts secondary is very questionable and the more I think about it looks like "Little Ben" is nothing more than a product of a system...I am amazed this team won the SB last season...the funniest thing is the Steelers are tied with my Browns for wins...:142smilie

Yes, I do.

Yes, I do.

I am from New Orleans, and I have liked the Saints every week. I think Philly has too many weapons to expose the Saints defense though. I would take Philly -3, but not higher than that. Tampa outplayed the Saints and have beat the Saints if weren't for some penalties, that turnover, and the returned punt for a touchdown. I scream my head off in the superdome, but the fans can only do so much.
