So. Cal
I learned that Fla/Tenn are the cream of the SEC crop, and everyone else is just overated or arent ranked.

I learned SEC will lose to Ore, and either ASU or Cal. USC SHOULD have lost today. "good teams" dont have to use trick FG plays to score on avg defenses. "good teams" dont need thier homefield clock judges to run the clock out illegally while the other team is at your doorstep ready to beat you! "good teams" dont throw two picks that dbs drop on your game saving drive. USC will lose because of lack of experience and injuries, but they should lose because they are dirty cheaters who get every call/break.

Texas is a top 5 team NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. After watching the game twice, Texas offense is finally clicking, and responding to adversity. I thought it was going to be another OSU, but they came back big time. They can run on anybody now that you have to respect McCoy in and OUT of the pocket, that kid has some wheels and can throw on them too. Texas D is SICKENING. Most games you see a guy catch a pass in the flats and one guy come up and miss him and then 4 yrds later another tries and if they get by him they are gone, Texas you see one guy come trip him up, then 6 Texans are dogpiling him. Everytime! This is the fastest defense in college.

Well, thats about it please tell em what you guys learned

Tex Tech isnt a top 25 team.

Mizzou should be top 20.

USC isnt a top 3 in my opinion-Texas is.

Georgia is overrrated.

Florida is good-real good.

If you are snakebitten...try not to get too distraught.

Mangino is a clown. I like the agressiveness on defense in the fourth quarter, but not THAT aggressive blitzing the whole team and leaving the big play open. Hindsight is a beautiful thing, but in that case I thought it was fairly obvious.

Don't bet against West Va. I got burned by Marshall, Maryland and now Mississippi state. I am still not impressed with their defense and will get their lunch when they play a quality opponent (read-Louisville) eventually.

I am assuming Florida is getting comfortable in the Swamp, esp. b/c it seems they never play a road game. Next week I might play against them just based on that.

Maybe LSU should start Flynn? Can Russell play in the big games at a high level?

ASU is getting 19.5 this week and USC will be hungry after that less than stellar performance...ASU wont be able to stop the run, or the pass...and their QB is DEFINTIELY not Stanback. If USC isn't flat they should roll. I see headlines of "ASU has reached rock bottom" on Sunday morning in Tempe.

3 negatives for ASU coming into this game. USC should be focused, it is at USC, and USC needs a big impressive win. No way USC will be overlooking ASU especially with a bye the following week. A lot of young players at USC who are fighting for playing time.

I also could see this being a 5 turnover game for ASU since the last 3 USC opponents took care of the ball extremely well. If you turn the ball over vs USC, it gets ugly. Arkansas knows this very well.

Lastly, USC finally plays an inmobile QB.

Carpenter actually is mobile...although he hasn't shown it.

But good for SC, he just isn't very good.

I dont see how ASU can stay with USC. A QB with mental troubles is in dire straits against USC.

Koetter is VERY close to losing this team as well. He lost them last year, and if ASU goes down 14-0 or something, I seriously think they could lose 45 or more to nothing. And I am being dead serious.

Texas 5-1 with #43 ranked SOS.
USC 5-0 with #2 ranked SOS.

Texas has 2 wins against BCS schools. :wtf:
USC has 5 wins against BCS schools.

Texas has 1 loss at home.
USC has ZERO losses.

Texas 1 win against top 30.
USC 4 wins (tops in NCAA) against top 30.

Texas ZERO road wins against BCS schools.
USC 3 road wins against BCS schools.

Texas OOC= North Texas, Ohio St., @Rice
USC OOC= @Arkansas, Nebraska (both teams currently tied for #1 in their BCS conference)

Beating Sam Houston St. by 53pts doesn't earn you top 3 ranking. :nono:
