This is my favorite post every week. I like to keep track of how favorites vs dogs are doing. My question is this...............why do you keep these stats on the opening line and not the closing line, and does the closing line differ?

This is my favorite post every week. I like to keep track of how favorites vs dogs are doing. My question is this...............why do you keep these stats on the opening line and not the closing line, and does the closing line differ?

thx Don, I also like to keep the stuff of how Favs vs dogs are doing during the season?.. i take most of my picks around 10 ? 11 in the morning every Sunday?? just keep the opening lines so i can see at the last moment how lines are moving, according to that i take or not the teams or totals that I liked since the opening lines, got a freaky system that has been made good profits last 3 seasons ?.. on the other hand, sometimes to support this info helps if you like to play some games on the basis of probabilities; we can see that in week #3 the dogs dominated the favorites, of this form it was easier to take the favorites that I liked in week #4, but then again, chord to the movement that they presented the lines of beginning to end, for example, I liked STL, but didn?t take the line early in the week at -5 to 5.5 (depend on the different books), so they cover that line, but not the -7 to 7.5 with that they ended, of course I didn?t take it, not with that margin of change??. i do not like to make write ups and stuff, is not my style, i just post what i?m playing every Sunday..... but glad because I know there are people like us that use this simple info?.

Good stuff Vicc, things usually end up evening out or close to it by the end of the season, so seeing a team lopsided versus going against a team heavy to the other side, is key, and becomes a multiplier should they play each other..gl
