So true. Actually it is a problem. The disgraces come so fast it's almost old news by the time a comedian gets to put it in his act. Unless of course the comedian is DTB where his jokes are 23 years old. On a personal note, I listen to Rush, Hannity, Savage, Church on radio. They are pretty entertaining, although their shows are very controlled and the callers are heavily screened to keep the ball rolling lopsidedly. I think it's beneficial to listen to the other side of issues, as it can help bring you back to more of a centrist position which is usually the best place to be on many issues. That being said...

I think it is absolutely fine to hold republicans (or any democrats, for that matter) who ran on morality issues to a higher standard when it comes to personal morality problems like Foley's. It's hypocritical to ask for beliefs and votes based on your moral character and then whine when people shine a flashlight into your gay closet or e-mail in-basket. Gay republicans certainly have it tough these days, I would think.

It never ceases to amaze me when I read these threads on how loyal (and I use that term loosley) people are to there respective parties. Do you people actually sit back and read what you write? What ever happened to people thinking for themselves and common sense?

As far as Foley goes hang his ass for the e-mails to a minor and also anyone that knew about it and didnt do anything. Seems simple enough. But those in there respective parties will back there guy to the bitter end no matter what. I mention Foley because that is the hot topic of the day..Democrats do the same thing.

Hell I wish someone would run for office and not put a spin on stuff and only ask for the votes of the people that dont vote now because they are sick of all the b.s. in washington. That person would win in a landslide.
