syracuse to keep the game close and cover if not win.
WHY?
w.v. in 2005/06 to date played 16 games and only played one top 25 team, virginia tech and lost.
yes, their on a 11 game win streak. winning on cripples of the like of mississipi state, who had 40% of the team lame.
the only team they really blew out was cinncinati last year with a score of 38-0.
syracuse is getting 3 and half t.d.'s in a major CONFERENCE game. in addition, the orange, in 2005/06 played against 6 ranked teams above 25 in the last 16 games. the most impressive game where syracuse lost to IOWA currently ranked 12th, came close to winning in a very close game.
i might add that only in 16 games has any team beat'em by 25 points, south florida in 2005 0-27.
also in the last 16 games syracuse was or getting over 25 points, they won 2 ATS notre dame and louisville in 2005 and getting 25+ saturday.
syracuse has a high probability of losing but in my opinion not by 25+

remember virginai tech fews years back when the polls put them in the top 7/8 and above and they fluked out in late season because they played ranked teams who showed all their weaknesses...well i think we have the same scenario with west virginia. if they didn't have steve slaton,running back,they would be in deep shit with some of the previous teams they played. Oh! another question??? who have they blow out??? and you tell me their #5 in the country. west virginia will probably fall like a rock after losing to louisville , pittsburgh, and maybe rutgers.
