I am counting on the Mets to bounce back in this one. Both pitchers have pretty good lifetime numbers against the opposing batters, so could be a close one.

Everybody thinks this one will be a shootout, but Tracks and Suppan can bring it still, gotta go with the best offense here, Mets.
SHawn Green was playing way too deep, that's a ball that has to be caught or at least handled cleanly to keep the second runner from scoring.

Make that 7 innings. Suppan is not this good, but his style of pitching really seems to baffle most of these Mets players. As insane as this might sound, they are still one big inning away from tieing this thing, even with 2 innings left, if this line-up wakes up and the Cards can't get outs, it could get ugly and quick.
But in all likelyhood this one is over. Ah well makes it an even day for me.
Cardinals have a great shot at being the worst team of ever to make the World Series... Tigers are going to beat either team... solid starting pitching and they are the team of destiny...:SIB
