It appears to me that play selection was poor on 3rd and short w/ :33 remaining at the Jet 33. A draw could have easily caught the Jets D off guard and picked up 1st down. This gives them a couple of shots at the zone, and a shorter FG attempt at worst.:shrug:

I believe I saw Saban say "That was my fault" in his headset after the missed FG. The booth probably called for a run for the 1st down.

they had a timeout, shoud have ran the ball twice to get the 1st down, motherfockers are 1-4, take some damn chances to win the game :cursin:

Soft ass Saban, 4th and one at the two and he elects for the field goal, if you can't get a yard when they just got done running down the field and not to run to get the first down! He should go back to coaching college! Michigan State needs someone to replace Smith when he gets his ass fired this year!

This might be the beginning of fire Saban bandwagon in Miiami.

Would have been sweet if they pulled it off, horrible play calling, easy 1st down run on 3rd down, the drive continues and if not a TD would have probably got a chip shot inside the 10, the way they were driving on the Jets D. Gimme win to Jets by some very poor coaching.

Agree KG, when the expectations were so big for Miami this way, and you're team is a continual disappointment, you'd better start taking chances. Have to admit Joey ran the two minute well...no one is second guessing themselves more than Saban. Got lucky with the push after being down 17...but a win would have been nice after getting my ass handed to me yesterday!

No doubt Cie, some guys are just better coaching in the college level. Both of his colleges want him back....which might be better for him!
