Master of the second half "prevent offense"!
ive seen alot worse than that,he actually threw the ball alot in the 4th..the sp teams lost that game ,the td and missed easy fg
e james has been going up the middle for no yards all year...dont think any coach will try and crush the bears when their ahead, especialy the cards with a rookie qb..wtf are you watching, thats not what lost the game...if they did go 3 and out they wouldve won the game b/c the bear off whouldve had to win the game, and that wasnt happening tonightAre you stoned? WTF is Edge James up the middle for zero yards every chance they had in the second half????? Yeah...they tossed some passes, but they were "safe" passes coaches throw to kill the clock, not crush a team with a score.
He thought they could continue to chew up three or four minutes off the clock every time they had the ball, and that they would keep Chicago off the board. Well, that might have worked if you could have picked up a fukking first down!
Funny how they moved the ball again, once they were trailing..........
:nono:
I hear they're going to take rackers out to the dessert you dig what I'm saying :scared
Cards trying to run clock out without getting first down was right plan, wrong execution. There was an easy 3-5 minutes they coulda ticked off the clock in the 4th qtr. before any of this happened between the 11:00 & 5:00 marks of the qtr. If they wanted to run, then run, run, pass like most conventional teams and not run, pass,pass...wasn't working for them.
Inexperience and bad coaching. If you paid attention near the end Zona was even snapping the ball with 8 secs left on the play clock?????
All in all, just bad play calling and time management and it bit Denny in the a** again.
When it comes down to it with a little better time consumption, better play distribution, and at least 1 more first down in that entire process....there was a good chance that punt would have never even had to happen.
I'll tell you what, I'm a huge Florida Gators fan and saw the "good old" Rex tonight. Back in Florida once he got a big head he was terrible and played way above his means and mostly out of control. Tried to be Danny Wuerffel when he wasn't.
Too much hype around him as of yet and as much as I like him from the Florida days he is no where near what he thinks he is right now since once again the hype has gone to his head. He is tough to keep on a leash and in control, very egotistical. It should have bit him in the a** tonight but his team pulled him out of it. Will be interesting to see how he responds the next 3-4 games.
