Season Stats: 25-26-3 (-4.75 units)

1. UCLA (+12-1/2) over NOTRE DAME (1 unit)

I have to post this ASAP because this one may drop a lot. A lot of sharpies know what's happening. The Bruins have one speedy set of DB's and LB's and are more athletic than Notre Dame is at many positions. Their speedy pursuit on defense should swarm the Notre Dame ball carriers more than they are used to seeing by far. Notre Dame lacks team speed, but UCLA has it. If anything, they are sometimes guilty of overpursuit. It takes speed to do something about that though, I think more than Notre Dame has. That should limit Notre Dame's offense choice of plays. I expect to see a lot of North South rushing and simple drop back pocket protection in their passing game with Quinn isolating the man as much as possible. Generally, though, I'm counting on the Bruins D to limit the Irish offense.

So Cal
you should wait a bit on this one....I'd say the line will move in your favor....

Oregon really took it to UCLA on Sat.
The soft schedule really did make the UCLA Def look good. They were exposed on Saturday .
N.D is coming off a bye week.
IMO N.D Off. will dominate this one.
UCLA QB P.Cowen is making his 2nd start.
UCLA will not be able to match up score for score.
Offensively UCLA is nutting like last year.
IMO it will be tough for them to score 17.

I think N.D wins this one big

something like 31-13

Right you are Tulah...line has now gone to 13-1/2.

The best thing that could have happened to UCLA's defense this past week did. They got a taste of a real offense. Now at last, DeWayne Walker will have his players' full attention preparing for Notre Dame.

UCLA Coach Karl Dorrell said Cowan lost his voice late in the loss to Oregon because of a hit to the throat. The hit caused inflammation around his vocal chords and landed Cowan in the emergency room when the team returned from Eugene.

I still think the outcome here depends a whole lot on how well DeWayne Walker can prepare his defense for Quinn and ND's passing game.

Playing a 4-Team Super Teaser for the first time this season. 14-point Teaser (1.5 units to win 1.0 unit).

2. TEASER
a. Mississippi (+33) over ARKANSAS
b. VANDERBILT (+17-1/2) over South Carolina
c. Alabama (+25) over TENNESSEE
d. Iowa (+27-1/2) over MICHIGAN

Ole Miss gave Bama all they wanted last weekend and even though they lost a heartbreaker, Arkansas is way overrated right now. 33 points is a joke - it will stay within 14 or so.

Vandy beat Georgia last weekend which actually hurts the line some, but they are for real and they don't get any love from the oddsmakers because they are Vandy.

Bama will never lose to Tennessee by more than 25, it's too big of a rivalry.

Michigan will be playing without Manningham and Iowa has an experienced QB who has played in a lot of big games. Look for Iowa to take the Wolverines down to the wire.
