from the article:

?No, his strategy is to win. The president understands not only the difficulty of it, but he grieves for the people who have served with valor,? Snow said in Washington. ?But as everybody says correctly, we?ve got to win. And that comes at a cost. And God bless the men and women who have risked their lives going into hostile areas because they do believe in the mission.?

Wow this paragraph makes me so mad.

I believe that 'we must stay the course' will go down in history among the most infamous quotes from a President. It will join, 'I am not a crook', 'I did not have sex with that woman', and 'read my lips-no new taxes.'

Fortunately, the genesis and circumstances producing the quotes from Nixon, Bubba and Bush 41 did not cost a single person their life.

I believe my blood pressure doubles every time I hear that idiot implore that we must 'stay the course.' YOUR COURSE F*CKING SUCKS AND IS A DISASTER. TRY A NEW COURSE!

All of you leftists give aid and comfort to the terrorists.

Max Cleland (3 limbs blown off in Nam) made the most convincing argument for withdrawl the other day. He says that the Civil War is underway and will continue regardless of our presence.

I don't know if that's the case. If it is, then it does us no good to keep throwing our own guys under the train. One thing does seem sure though - outside of Kurdistan, things are not improving under the current "course". We gotta change up something in the gameplan.

Remember Vietnam, the domino theory, if Vietnam falls to communism all of SE asia will follow? Guess what? It never happened. 58,000 Americans died for it, it was a lie. Last year there were 7,000 murders in the US, Americans killing Americans, but you don't hear much about a war on violence in America because it does serve the government's purpose. You are more likely to be killed by a American then by any "Terrorist." The government is pulling your strings and making you do whatever they want. The American people are too stupid to figure it out. 58,000 in Vietnam died for nothing and are all but forgotten. Those who have died and will die in Iraq will have the same fate. But will make alot of oil companies richer. This is why the US can not leave until the job is done. It's not about saving American lives, it's about making money, war is big business, invest your son.
