i see alot of you are on the knights and wonder why? Here is my take on this game. Palko is in a different league compared to rutgers qb teel ! IT"S NOT EVEN CLOSE! pitt is 12-5 at home both ats and su, covering all games they won.those five losses were against some good teams too, nd ,mia,wv,etc... schiano is 6-28 vs big east and rutgers football is 4-19 vs pitt . PITT is giving 6.5 for a reason,to get rutgers money on this game! WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED TO SEE LINE GO UP EVEN THOUGH, EVEN AMOUNT COMING IN ON BOTH TEAMS! PITT BY 2+ TDS !!! OPINIONS ANYONE????

I will be on Pittsburgh to. It wont be because of the records you put up... you can throw those out... those old Rutgers teams were terrible. I just think Pittsburgh is the better team playing at home.
Pitt like Rutgers has a solid defense. And surprisingly rank very high in turnover margin (2nd). I think if they can shut down the run, they can force Teel into mistakes. That coupled with a potent offense and a smart QB. I think they cover this number.
I don't think we can tell how good these two teams are. Both teams have had it easy to this point. I thought Navy would be a test for Rutgers but Navy's best player (qb) went out very early in that game. The one thing that I noticed about Pitt, they have the most speed of everyone Syracuse has played this yr.
no, I forgot about Wv, I was out back rollin the pig for most of that one. They have more speed than them soft boys from Iowa and the rest.
I'm also leaning toward Pitt. I think Rutgers will have a hard time on the road. The Pitt team and fans will be pumped to knock out an undefeated team in their conference, but with so many good cappers picking Rutgers this may be a no play for me. I will probably look at this one a little more.
Had Pitt circled before the lines out, but didn't expect the chalk to be this high. Will sit this one out but do think the Panthers are better team.
Rutgers is on a nice run but really haven't proven anything in their wins this year. Didn't think they'd handle Navy that well but the Midshipmen aren't exactly a powerhouse this season either.

Pitt really hasn't played much of a schedule?? Not one team with a winning record. Rutgers beat a solid So. Florida team and Navy was a one loss team. Rutgers may well lose by the spread, but I think their defense keeps Palco in check....GL

You have to throw out navy game due to injury of qb. and so. fla qb a frosh (good runner).Palko is a senior who will be in nfl next year.south fla also had a three game season opening win streak snapped the week before at Kansas in a close game (emotional letdown). palko is #1 qb in nation ! humongous skill level jump for rutgers to overcome combined with the return of rb Stephen-howlings.especially on the road.

This is homecoming yall for Pittsburgh and its crazy at Heinz field.....If your pullin the trigger on Rugers because of gut feeling I'dd be worried.

I agree...Palko is a very good QB and can carry his team.........Homecoming usually means distraction.....my main concern here is Rutgers is playing 3 rd game on the road, and this will be their defining moment. Good Luck with your bets...should be a good game!
south florida by no means is solid,at most they are mediocre and navy didn't have their starting qb which is their main source of offense...so i wouldn't judge rutgers strenght by those 2 opponents o yea and they beat UNC :com: PITT rolls them tomorrw :thumb:
i just can't bet a team coached by Wannstant. I think he is one of the worst coaches i have ever watched coach a team. Every where he goes he loses and makes a team much worse. Im talking about when he is in charge.
2 good @2 bad seasons in Chicago. Jimmy Johnson sure must have thought he could coach. plastic hair is no dummy that's for sure!
