granted, i've paid very little attention to baseball this year. but preston wilson hitting second in the lineup? really? has he suddenly learned how to make contact? or has tony la russa gone batshit insane? it sure killed them in the top of the 3rd.
suppan looks solid, perez looks like he's pitching with his heart and the cards will catch up to him soon
I can't see Perez pitching into the 6th thiough, Willie will take him out if he gets into any jams and quick.

One can wonder if Spezio was in that spot what could of been. Enough is enough, I know Preston has a good arm in the field, actually I'd rather have Spezio in a big pinch hit situation right now. Maybe Wilson can get a big hit late in the game against another pichter, because Perez has smoked him.
That was Edmonds ball, Preston almost messed up on the field now too. What's this guys problem tonight. Come on Preston get with the program.
