Hawks downsize their list of injuries
By Andy Hamilton

Iowa's lengthy list of injuries appears to be dwindling.
Running back Albert Young has had "two pretty good days" of practice, defensive tackle Mitch King is likely to play Saturday at Michigan, and free safety Marcus Wilson and receiver Dominique Douglas "are out of the woods," coach Kirk Ferentz said Wednesday on his Learfield radio show.
Young missed the past two games with a sprained posterior cruciate ligament.
"He's not quite out of the woods yet, but we're feeling pretty good about him," Ferentz said. "Seems like that's responding pretty well, so we're getting some good news, at least."
King sat out last week with a hamstring problem.
"Mitch King has worked a little bit," Ferentz said. "We're being very cautious right now. He's got a hamstring, so you don't want to overburden that thing and get it to go backward. ... But we plan on taking him, and I'm sure he'll play some."
Wilson and Douglas were sidelined during the loss to the Hoosiers.
Iowa also lost left tackle Dace Richardson to an ankle injury against Indiana.
Ferentz said Richardson was "a little sore" during Wednesday's practice.
