NCAA YTD: 19-17 (+1.24*)

NFL YTD: 9-12 (-4.25*)

I was doing better than fine, until last weekend, which was, simply put, worse than I thought possible; I lived it, so I won't revisit it here.

Virginia(-6) over North Carolina (1*)
- - My next ATS winner will be as big as any this season. This play was not lightly chosen.

By some distance, Virginia was my top play of the week - Man, am I glad it was not just a right side, but a jewel of a play.

Baylor(-3)(-120) over Kansas (1.50*)
- - Along with Cal, my favorite squad of the 2006 season, strange as that seems. Not too far-fetched to think they can take the field with a shot at moving back into a first place tie in the Big 12 South, and sure to be taking the field in pursuit of their first homecoming win in 9 seasons. I know what I know, and that team has a Big Heart . . . I'm at least somewhat back and forth on all of my other plays (Tennessee, Texas, Wisconsin, South Carolina, Rutgers, San Jose State, Tulsa, Notre Dame . . .); that's the only play for today for which I can't fathom taking the other side.

Also think Baylor is a suprise team of 2006...the suprise is you don't fade them every game, but that's still something for this program.

I'll be playing for $200-300.

The Kansas program lost a heartbreaker to OSU last week. Baylor expected an asss whooping at UT.

With you on nearly every other play, though I'm pulling the trigger on Texas, WISC, Tenn, Tulsa, Cal and ASU. Also going to take the 7 if Ryan is starting for BC.

Big Nick - I'll be visiting family in Berkeley next week, and playing golf at Tilden Park. It will be a blast.

Keith 1 - "get me out of this."

Missouri(-14') over Kansas State (1*)
- - This one is circled in every heart, every rep, every last push. The floodgates could hold.:mj07:

Baylor burned my cash this week, and now they're set to reach into my wallet again next week, but I've got to give 'em props . . . I know what I know, and that team has a Big Heart.
