Finally someone with a set of nuts challenge him on why we are building Military bases over in Iraq. The same type of bases like in Saudi Arabia which were one of the major reason 9/11 happen. There presently is a bill that has passed the republican house and republican senate but this prick won't sign it and its called the Biden amendment. It calls for no permanent bases in Iraq.
In true Bush fashion he look like he was stunned by the question and talk all around it. This kind of shit creates nothing but terrorism(permanent military bases). This collection of thieves are never gonna leave Iraq. They want a mess over there because they can keep on stealing. Anyone know who is in charge of all the oil revenue? If so who is getting it? Are they now gonna start using it to fund this farce of a war or are we still gonna do it? When he comes for another 70 billion under the guise of new Military equipment for the troops can we say no and ask him to take it out of the oil revenue they are hoarding? We also have a new republican word. Its called Bench-Marks. Not timetables but Bench Marks.

Amen! That's because Halliburton is well on its way to completing a permanent base. They'll keep ducking it until the magnitude of it dawns on everybody, when it's too late.

Dan what really floored me is that Cris Matthews picked up on this and said something about it on his interview. I figure this would just pass on by but it looks like a few want to talk about this. Boy i sure hope this stays in the news more than 15 munutes.

I finally heard him say today, we can't leave because a large percentage of the worlds oil reserves could become available to the wrong people. Why didn't they just say that from the beginning. Instead of wmd, or Saddam really bad dictator, kills people.

Yep sham the black gold. If he really wanted to keep us safe and terrorism out of our lives, he would get us off of this so called addiction instead of worrying about Iraqs all of the time. I once heard that Iraq's oil is the only oil in the world that doesn't have some type of monitoring system on how much is pouring out the spicket or whatever it comes out of. So you can just take what you want and nobody can figure out how much you took.

I almost feel bad for Bush at this point. As I have stated before, he probably isn't a bad guy at all in private, away from politics. I wouldn't mind having a couple at a game or something with him. But he looks ridiculous now, its almost scary, the Republicans keep pushing him out there, because it's election season, and there is nothing left to say, that's why Ari and everyone else left, there pretty much out of shit to make up shit about. And Rumsfeld and Cheney, the architects of all the shi t, just stay in the back, and keep pushing George out there to explain it, and make it sound right.
He's starting to look like the kid that stayed on the merry go round to long. Like that look Meldrick Taylor gave Richard Steele, in the Julio Chavez fight.

he shouldnt have said that and there is no reason to say that other than to turn the Iraqi people against us even more

we should continue to say that we are there to help the Iraqi people (which we hope is a byproduct longterm) and not at all dishonest

of course we are there because there is oil, but there is no reason to say that because it is politically stupid concerning Iraq

we need STABILITY to keep the black gold flowing

What we really need is to tell them to shove the oil up there ass, fined alternatives like the Brazilians, and put Americans back to work building hybrids.

Sham in his last state of the union speech he openly said that we need to do something about Asbestos suites because it is gonna destroy the economy. Well, guess who has a huge amount of Asbestos suits against them? Halliburton. For Cheney to con him into saying that in his state of the union speech just shows who is running the show. Honestly i aways thought his dad was a sneak so Bush knows what he is doing. He is not as dumb as everyone thinks but he isnt a brilliant man either. One thing he is is very loyal but only to a select few. I never forget his one quote talking to a bunch of millionaires. "some people call u the elite, I call you my base" That about sums him up.

The same thing said four different ways. Is still the same thing. In other words nothing new. But one thing came out of Iraq that was new. Our new puppet leader there said he doesn't take orders from Washington. Really.
