We head to Stillwater today where the BLACKshirts will tangle with the ORANGEclad homeboys of Oklahoma State - severe scheduling soft spot for the Huskers following their gut wrenching loss at home LW to the LHorns - Husker Nation had to have thought they turned a huge corner in their resurrection when WR Terrence Nunn hauled in a short catch for a 1st down to all but put away the Horns, but as we all know that excitement lasted all of a nanosecond before Nunn put the rock on the carpet and the rest was history
Meanwhile, OSU was in a battle of their own but their bowl hopes took a huge blow when a blocked XP led to an OT loss to A&M - OSU has 4 wins but only 3 against D1 teams; they also have a remaining schedule that includes Texas, OU, TT and Baylor - if HC Gundy has any thoughts of a postseason game you can bet that today's home tilt is necessary to bring home
NEB is off aforementioned heartbreaking loss to big rival and on deck is what basically amounts to a playoff game with Missou for a chance at revenge vs Texas in Big 12 CHAMPIONSHIP GAME! - In my opinion NEB is in lookahead mode in regards to next week's game as well as looking all the way ahead to redemption vs UT - OSU has a slew of explosive offensive weapons and is in dire need of a win to help cement bowl eligibility - don't think HC Callahan will have his boys ready to play today, and that is a recipe for disaster in what is sure to be a hostile Stillwater environment
